The Man was Nearing Seventy, the High Courts Believed that the Death Penalty would be Unfitting

Considering how ELDERLY this murderer is!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The sixty-nine-year-old man, Chen was suspected of how the assets were divided unevenly, he’d murdered his wife for thirty years, then dismembered her, their daughter found the parts, and reported to the police.  The Taoyuan District Courts sentenced Chen for the death penalty for murder, dismemberment of the body; the Highest Courts believed that Chen is nearing seventy, that sentence him to life in prison should keep him away from the society for the rest of his life, that the death penalty wasn’t the only choice for sentencing, changed the verdict to life in prison.

In 2016, Chen divorced his wife, in 2017, they got back together again, and because his wife failed to transfer the assets to him like agreed upon in their divorce, they’d argued on the matter every now and then; in April of 2018, Chen’s wife moved out of their residence, went to live with their daughter, on May 25^th, Chen called his wife to go home, and as she got there, they’d started in altercation again on the divisions of their assets, Chen took a chopping knife, hacked his wife to death, dismembered her, then, stashed the body pieces in the refrigerator, the back of the mattress on the second floor bedroom, the third floor storage.

During the trial, he’d claimed that he didn’t kill or dismember his wife, and claimed “Aunt Wood” did it, that this was known to only him and his wife; his son however, wanted his mother’s death to be avenged, that the justice system should give his own father the most severe of punishments.

The High Courts believed, that Chen asked for a brand new lawyer in his trial, and knew, that he could, find more evidence that are going to benefit his case, and knew that so long as there’s an alibi, then, there’s reasonable doubt.  As Chen left the blood stains from chopping up his own wife in the bathrooms, which his daughter discovered, he’d lied to her that it’s from self-mutilation, as his daughter left, he’d, immediately cleaned up the blood, and from before, he’d not been diagnosed with auditory hallucination, delusions, or any medical records for him being treated for a mental illness, and the courts found that he was, in control of his own behaviors as he’d committed the murder.

The High Courts believed that he had admitted to what he’d done, but the death sentence wasn’t the only punishment for him, that the death penalty given for the first trial wasn’t reasonable.

Uh, what the @#$%, if murdering your wife/husband, then, CHOPPING her/him up into bits and pieces, stashing away the parts where you think nobody will find does NOT constitute as “cruel and unusual” or MURDER, then, WHAT would?  Those massacres, those mass shootings, with, tons who are murdered, who are unrelated to the shooter?  Where the @$%# is justice???  That’s what I want to know, if you CAN use your age, to get away with getting the severest of punishments for murder.
