What does this show? There are, the methods those instructors hadn’t used yet, to teach children what they need to learn! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
Met up again with my classmate from decades ago when I went to the States to study, we’d started talking of the interesting things that’s happened in the past. I’d asked, how his eldest daughter was doing? Great, excellent in her work, received multiple “Employee of the Month” awards, she’s doing well, happily married too; the two of them are not at all, worried over her one bit.
Back then his wife was waiting to give birth, the anesthesiologist used a bit too much drugs, causing damages to the infant’s brains, causing a severe learning disability. As her mother, she was very patient, took her time, taught the daughter everything, step by step, first, riding a bicycle, signed her daughter up for swimming lessons five times, and the child can take care of the basic living needs then. As she grew older, living in U.S., you’d needed to learn to drive, she was sent to the driving school, and in just a month, the coaches refused to teach her to drive: no need to waste time, we can’t teach this individual to drive EVER!
The mother refused to give up, set a three-year-plan, every day, she’d taken her daughter out herself to teach her to drive, there wasn’t that much progress in a little over a month, the daughter became upset, and begged, “can I not learn to drive anymore? The coach was right, I can’t learn!” “You agree, that if in three years, you still can’t drive, then, we’ll, stop, practicing driving!”
In three and a half months, the daughter went for her driver’s exams, and passed it. They took the license to the coach, the coach was moved, told the mother, “You should take my job!”
The daughter was careful when she drove, never made an error, later, she’d also, taught other beginner drivers to pass their driving tests. The mother told, “the developmentally delayed children take things step by step, has the foundations down pat, and, once they’d learned, they rarely, makes an error.”
In the schools, she couldn’t catch up to her fellow classmates’ progresses, the mother trained the daughter to do the household chores, cleaning, etc., it caused the neighbors, the friends to gossip, said this mother was playing favorites, ordered this daughter of hers around, to wash the floors, to clean the windows, or whatever. As the child got older, she got a steady job at a cleaning company, and is now, working the regular hours, making it on her own. Not only that, she was excellent at work: always on time, doesn’t slack off, finished all the jobs assigned to her completely, perfectly, enjoyed helping others; when the boss wanted her to pull in her overtime, no matter how the hours are not good, she’d said yes. And, out of everybody’s expectations, this “dumb girl” received the employee of the month award.
Her mother encouraged her, “there are those who are smarter than you, but your kind, hardworking, with heart, hardworking, focused; these characters are, what made you stand out!”
There are, too many who are smart in the world right now. There are, the smarty pants in all the areas of expertise, they’re all, trying to figure out ways to not work hard, and achieve a lot, having a ton of money. Thought up of the shortcuts, using bad measures. And those who are, better in these bad skills are in politics: claiming that they can, save the world, fooling the average citizens, copying the dissertations, cheating the school systems into giving them the degrees, and, those without the degrees, just, make up lies, and say that they earned one……………as they’d received the votes, and sat on that high throne, bold and daring, breaking the laws, embezzling, using self-righteous claims, and, in just a few years, these people managed to get billions of money under one’s own name. One wrong policy, hurting over millions of citizens.
All of these are, intelligent children sure, with good abilities to learn, but, with a stomach full of, bad ideas bad behaviors. The society spent a ton of assets to help them learn, and, calculating it all up, what had they, done anything good for the society? And, how many bad things had they all done, to hurt the voters?
Teaching these “dumb children” it takes a ton of energy, the process of learning and growth, but once they acquired a certain skill, they are, going to, put that skill to work, giving, selflessly, giving. But, this society, only put the spotlight on the favorites online, chasing what little pleasures. Based off of a survey done in a university: what the students want to do the most after they graduate? The job that received the highest votes is “to own a café”. Smart! Just, waiting, for the days that come easily!
There are NO dumb children who can’t learn. As they’d learned that specific skill, they will, become, a powerful force of the society. They have my votes, these, “dumb children”.
And so, these slow-to-develop children, took their time, to make sure the foundation of what they were learning is strong enough, then, they built upward, and that, is how they’re, able, to overcome the obstacles that came their ways.
