The police investigated, that in January of this year, Chen met the “man”, Kuo on a friendship app, the individual claimed that he was a professional investor, that he could, zoom in on the savings insurances to help her make a profit, and all she’d needed was to deposit over $10,000N.T.s, then she will be guaranteed a return of $3,000N.T. to $5,000N.T. in interests. In six months, Chen wired nearly $100,000N.T. to the individual, and, the two fell in love, and started referring to one another as husband and wife too.

Based off of understanding, during the time they were “dating”, “Kuo” used words so sweet toward Chen, they’d never met face-to-face, but had, used the webcams to interact, and during which time, “Kuo” had always, used an assortment of excuses, to not show up on the cameras, only conversed with the words, there were several times they really got into talking, Chen had even posed nude in front of her webcam, and e-mailed multiple sexy photos of herself nude to the other person.
On the fifteenth of last month, the two broke up due to investment problems and how they were, dating, Chen demanded the other individual give her back all the money she gave to invest, the individual said no, and threatened to leak out her nude photos; Chen worried that her photos would get out, and for her own life, and reported it to the police.
The police chased the leads through the internet, and found, that the man, Kuo didn’t even KNOW Chen, that it was a woman, the thirty-five-year-old woman, Lin who’d, falsified herself as Kuo to fish her; as Lin was taken into the police station, she’d admitted to using Kuo’s registered photo for FB, and using his name, and, signed up for an account on the friendship app, that she had, saved Chen’s nude photos on file, but denied the allegations of fraud and threats, claimed that she just felt upset, because Chen wanted to, break up.
So, you really don’t KNOW, who the HECK you’re, talking to, even IF you thought you knew the person you’d, talked with so very well, you don’t, because, there’s, that THICK screen between the two of you, so, DO be careful, as you try, and make your “new friends” online.
