An elderly woman in Keelung, with two young grandsons went out for a function, right before she alighted the bus, she’d realized, that she’d, forgotten her umbrella, and as the young grandchildren alighted the bus, they’d realized, that their grandmother wasn’t with them, but the bus had already, driven off, as the driver learned, he’d, parked by the intersections, to wait for the elderly woman, and his act of kindness, moved the elderly woman so. The city bus department stated that they are going to find out who the driver was, and reward him well.

This elderly woman on the morning of the 18th, took her nine and six-year-old young grandson to the seaside park for a brisk walk, then, they’d gone to the ocean science museum to wait for the bus. Suddenly, the elderly realized, that she’d, forgotten to take the umbrella she had, and returned back to the park to look for it, but the two young grandsons missed her, and alighted the bus, as the children alighted the bus, they’d realized, that their grandmother wasn’t on it.
The nine-year-old older boy told the driver stressed out, “My grandmother hadn’t alighted the bus yet!”, the driver immediately parked the bus and waited, and the elderly woman still didn’t show up, and there were passengers in a hurry, and urged the driver, “Can we get going now?”, and the driver let the children off to find their grandmother.
The elderly woman’s daughter, Yeh posted the whole process online, to say thank you to the driver, and apologized to the other passengers onboard, and thanked the driver for his kindness of waiting for her mother.
The Keelung Bus Station manager, Chen said, he will review over the bus cameras, and issue out a reward to the driver, from the preliminary investigations, it was Route 103, from Badozi to Keelung, from the Oceanview Alley, passing through the Ocean Science Museum to the city of Keelung.
There are a ton of elderly persons who are taking the buses in Keelung, and many who are immobilized, there are the drivers who are kind, and waited for the elderly persons to get situated, then start driving away, there was a driver of Route 202 who’d waited until all the passengers alighted the bus, then drive off.
A female driver who’d been driving the buses for over a decade, Lin was selected as an excellent bus driver, she would always patiently, answered the passengers’ inquiries, and she was commended time and time again.
