Last year, the man, Cheng from Kaohsiung took his three-year-old daughter, Deng to the gas station to get his car washed, the child was suspected of putting the air pump into her mouth and the air shot through her body at high speed, causing her heart to suffer an embolism of oxygen, she’d died instantly, the child’s mother accused the man, Kuan of murder, the Chiaotou District Court sentenced Kuan on manslaughter charges for a year ten months, the child’s mother stated, “This is, absolutely, unacceptable, we shall fight for the appeals, all the way!”
The local district court pointed out, that the judge believed that there were, two possible causes of this death, one, Kuan admitted to using the air gun to clean the inside of his car, he’d accidentally, blew the air at high-intensity at the young girl’s face; second, he’d, left the nuzzle close to the passenger side, and the child was sitting on the passenger side, and the nuzzle tested positive for the child’s DNA, so the court isn’t ruling out that the child had, accidentally pressed the button, and causing the high-pressure gas to enter into her boy, which caused death.
The judge believed, that either way, Kuan was negligent, that he should be charged with manslaughter, but his crime wasn’t up to death by intentional harm, or intentional murder.
The case occurred on January twentieth of last year, the coroner’s autopsy found, that there were injuries on the mucous membrane of the child’s upper lips, that there were lacerations in her mucous membrane of her throat, that the wound was exactly the same as the diameter of the nozzle; they’d deduced that the air entered into her body at a very high consistency, causing her to suffer emphysema in the head, neck, thorax and abdomen, and the blood vessels were suppressed by the emphysema causing the lungs to rupture and bleed, her heart filled with air, causing death.
The D.A. reviewed over the surveillance footage of the gas station, took the DNA of the handle of the gas pump, compared the distance of the handle of the gas pump and the child’s finger, believed that the child is capable, and had, touched the air pump herself, and pumped air toward her face, her body, and her mouth; the D.A. did a polygraph on Kuan as well, and the results were inconsistent, but there was NO proof that he had, put the nozzle into the young child’s mouth.
The D.A. believed, that it was the child who’d, placed the nozzle into her own mouth, that’s cause her death, and Kuan, being the only next-of-kin there, knew the child couldn’t protect herself, and that her sense of danger isn’t as developed as adult, and still allowed her to play with the pump, he was, neglectful, and his neglect was linked closely, to what caused the child to die, charged Kuan on manslaughter.
As the young child died, the mother cried, and stated, “I can’t accept it!”, suspected that Kuan had intentionally, murdered her young, and Kuan stated, “I can’t love her enough, how can I murder her?”, that the entire thing was an accident, that he had, NO motives for murdering his own daughter.
Based off of understanding, Deng was never marred to Kuan when she had her daughter, and Kuan was serving time for another crime currently.
And so, this IS, negligence HOMICIDE, and this ADULT should have had a better sense, than to keep that tire pump in the reach of this young girl, because children are always going to be curious of their surrounding environment, and this time, this young girl pumped too much AIR into her system, and caused her self, to D-I-E, but the adult was responsible, because he should’ve been watching her more closely, but he wasn’t!
