Many years ago, the former president, Ma passed out the vouchers to stimulate the economic, back then, the teachers at my school started discussing, whether or not they should also get them, back then, they’d asked me, “Principal, you get paid high enough already, and you’re, still getting the vouchers?”, I’d told them, of course I was, getting the vouchers! That was, the kindness of the government, it can, stimulate the economy, of course I was, going to, get the vouchers, it’s just, that as I’d received the vouchers, I was, using them, to help the kids at school. As my daughter heard that was what I was doing, she’d told me, to count her in too, “donate it to someone who needs it more! Making the kindness of the government, more meaningful.”
As I’d finished telling my teachers, they’d, supported my belief, and, donated their own vouchers too, even their, family members’ as well, the mother of Aunty Shu-Feng who works at the school store heard, not only did she, donate her own vouchers, but also, another sum of money, which helped a ton of kids in our school who are, living in poverty.

As the government issued the triple vouchers this year, a few days ago, my youngest called, I’d asked her if she’d, registered for the electronic vouchers online, she’d already, started working, told me she was, very busy, didn’t have time for it, that she’d not have the time, nor would she, want to, get the vouchers, “You spend a thousand dollars, and receive three thousand dollars, what’s that for?”, I’d immediately replied, “You can donate your share to the kids in need!”, I’d told her of how I’d, donated my vouchers many years ago, and as she’d listened to my tale, she’d told me to pick hers up, and donate to the families in need.
I’d gone to the local bakery recently, and started a conversation with the young female owner, she said that there were the customers who are using the triple vouchers to shop there, she’d not yet decided if the shop would allow for it, “I’ll let my workers discuss it, after all, we don’t make the changes, it’ll be their doing, as they are, checking the customers out!”, I’d told her that she was, an awesome owner, but I’d still worried, “if you don’t accept the vouchers, would it not, affect your business?”, she’d told me she was not at all, worried, because the shops with the hearts, using the high-quality materials, honest, her business would, surely, last; she’d told me, that a guest told her, it wouldn’t matter if her shop took the vouchers, she’d had the extra $2,000N.T. from the government, and she will still come shop, to encourage the younger generations of entrepreneurs.
My husband handed me his national health insurance card a little while ago, “this time, do remember, to donate my vouchers too!”, he’d told me to think who I want to donate to, do we, send them our vouchers, or, buy the goods with the vouchers, and have the goods delivered there? I’d gotten the vouchers from the super convenience shops, and, thought of how there was a list of single-parent families, his father was so glad that as the child started taking the weekend talent courses, the child brought home the extra food for him to share with; and I’d, thought of a hard working young woman, there were five of them girls in the family, and only her mother who was, working to support the family, oh………and many, others too, I will, hand my vouchers to them quickly, then, have my daughter go to get hers, then, donate hers as well.
Many years ago, I’d written an article, as the government then, handed out the vouchers, on donating the vouchers to those who are in need, and this time, the government’s, doing it again, I don’t CARE there are the controversies of the vouchers, I only know, that sharing this, triple voucher, sharing the love, what I’d gained in returned, is more than, three-times!
And so, this, is a good thing that this family had done, giving the “free” money the government’s handing out, to those who are in need more than they are, and, this is the kindness we are in need of more and more these days, but, most people wouldn’t do it, as we see the vouchers as, what we’d paid for ($1,000N.T.s), therefore, we are all, entitled, to what the government’s, adding on top of that thousand dollars we’d paid in, to get the total of three thousand out of.
