The Technical High School Graduate in a Coma…
A man, Jeng who’d just graduated from a technical high school went to the Red River Valley located in Wulai, Hsintien to swim, he and his companion, Chung drowned, as they were rescued, Jeng lost the vital signs, and after they took him to the hospital, his heart started beating again, but he is in a coma, Chung wasn’t in any critical danger; this is the second drowning in the Red River Valley since last month’s rescue of an elementary school girl.
Based off of understanding, Jeng (age 18) at noon yesterday, with Chung (age 18) along with a total of about eight other classmates went to the underpass of the Red River Valley Bridge to swim, as the group arrived to under the bridge, they’d found Chung and Jeng missing, they’d immediately searched for them. The firefighters stationed at the location heard the group called out, they’d leapt in to search and to conduct the rescues.
The searchers found Chung first, lifted him up and out of the water, he was choking, but still conscious, and they’d continued searching for twenty more minutes and found Chung, and he was already not breathing, they’d, sent him off in an ambulance, and continued performing CPR on him, and, as they arrived in the hospital, they finally got his pulse back, but he is in a level three comatose, sent to the ICU.

The school pointed out, the Jeng was a graduate of the school this year, the homeroom instructor had reminded the class to watch out for water safety, and the school felt bad about one of its former students drowning, and they will have the school instructors, reiterate the matter of safety in the water in the summer time again.
There had been multiple drownings in the Red River Valley, last month on the fourth, a thirteen-year-old elementary school girl drowned and was rescued, and in no more than fifteen days, there’s another drowning, this calls for the attention of the public. The Hsinbei Fire Department told, that there are a lot of hotspots for swimming in Hsinbei, started in April, they’d worked hand in hand with the local communities in these locations to patrol, during the summertime, they’d sent the lifeguards to watch over places like Wulai, Pingling, a total of seventeen locations.
The district manager of Wulai, Chou said, the Red River Valley, the Jiajiuliao Creek, along with the Tonghou Creek back of Wulai Elementary and Middle School, all had the warning signs on, reminding the public to watch for water safety, and there are the ban notices, along with the barricades to the entrances of these places set up by the local land offices as well.
And yet, despite ALL of these efforts, there are just those who refused to follow the rules, because they’re all getting too hot, with the temperatures hiking up higher, higher, and higher, and these stupid people still refused to follow the rules, I mean, there ARE the warning signs of “Don’t Swim Here, Danger!”, and yet, drowning accidents keep on, occurring.
