Based off of understanding, at around seven in the morn yesterday, Liu was taken to school by his parents, he’d not gone into his classroom, disregarded the rules, walked over to the elementary school sections, saw the girl, Wei, getting her temperatures as she was about to enter into school, he’d, suddenly taken out that kitchen knife, blocked her path, pinned her down onto the ground, started beating her, stabbed her three times on the back. Wei’s younger brother was in the first grade, saw his older sister got attacked, he was, dumbfounded.
The male instructor, Jiang who was checking the students’ temperatures, the male volunteer, Hsu rushed up, called out to Liu, “What are you doing!”, then went to pull him off, called the police, Liu threw his knife away, was stunned, standing at the spot. As the paramedics and the police rushed over, they’d found the girl crying on the ground, with three knife wounds on her back, one of the stabs was deep they’d feared it may cause internal bleeding, as they rushed her to the hospital, she suffered from hemothorax, she was placed in the I.C.U.
In the chaos, Liu injured his own left hand, he didn’t suffer any major damage, was taken to the police station; he’d remained silent as the officers led him in, in the company of both his parents, he was interviewed. He’d claimed that he was well aware what he was doing, but didn’t know why he did it, “I was drawing a blank”, the police, after interrogation, charged him on attempted murder, sent him to the juvenile court of Shihlin District Court.

And so, it seemed, that this young girl, was in the wrong place, AT the wrong time, because the sixteen-year-old male didn’t have any beef with her, that he’d, felt pressures lately, and, in that instant, it all, exploded, and, he’d, attacked this innocent child who was, in the wrong place, AT the wrong time, and this is still, another, RANDOM stabbing, which is happening, quite a lot in the world right now.
