A suicide by arson, or, an accident??? Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
In the early morning hours, the fifth floor of an apartment building in Zuoying, Kaohsiung had a fire, the male tenant, Wang found dead on the bed; the girlfriend, Kuo told, that the night before, they were arguing on the matters of money, that in the midnight hours of last night, she’d gone to the lanai for some fresh air, then twenty minutes later, she’d found that fire had started in the bedroom, but she’d called out for her boyfriend to leave, he’d not moved, so she’d, gotten out herself.
The police and fire department investigated and found, that the point of ignition was in the bedroom, the spring mattress Wang (age 28) was found dead on got burned to just the springs, although there wasn’t any accelerant found, and no clear sign of arson, but because of Kuo (age 31) described how Wang didn’t struggle to get himself out as the fire occurred, the police were suspicious over this fire. After the D.A. and police interrogated Kuo, they’d sent her home, but listed her as a person of interest in the case, they will wait until the reports from the fire department and the autopsy reports come out, then they will, find out exactly what had, happened.
The fire occurred at around three in the morning yesterday, the fire department rushed over shortly after they were called, took twenty minutes to put out the fire, the firefighters found Wang the tenant, already burned to charcoal on the bed of the master bedroom, they’d notified the fire investigators, and the police. The police interviewed the residents and the neighbors told them, that before the fire, they’d heard the resident where the fire happened to have loud arguing sounds, and things dropping, the police notified the cohabiting partner of Wang, Kuo to the station to tell them exactly what had happened.
Kuo who was in between jobs told, that her boyfriend, Wang worked whatever temporary positions available for him to take, they were having it hard economically, before the fire, they had had a serious argument because of the economic pressures, later she’d gone into the bedroom to sleep. She woke in the middle of the nights, sa her boyfriend asleep by her side, went outside on the lanai to get some air, twenty minutes later she’d returned back to the bedroom, and the fire was already, burning, she’d called out to her boyfriend to wake up to get out, but he wouldn’t wake, and the fire was getting huge, and she can only, make her escape on her own.
Based off of understanding, Wang had been estranged from his own families long-term, as the police told his father and older brother to help them investigate, the families weren’t too emotional about his death.
And so, this may well be a suicide, this man may have set the fire, with the intentions of killing himself, but, that is what we can guess from what’s given here, as for what caused this man to do this, if he’d done it, we will, NEVER know, because the only one who can explain why this happened is, D-E-A-D!
