The Hole in the Justice System: the Families of the Victims: the Pains, Will, NEVER Go Away

The aftermath of the verdict of the railroad police officer’s’ murder, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The railroad police officer, Lee’s being murdered, the man was found not guilty on the first trial, as the case was just sent to appeal, Lee’s father died, because he was too disappointed by the justice system, what the victims go through psychologically had always been, neglected by the justice system.  A ton of the families of the victims who’d come to court during the trial all shared this same painful experience, lacking the understanding of the psychological stress placed on the families of the victims, IS a hole that’s waiting to be patched up in the justice systems here.

The psychiatrist, Yang analyzed, that the families of the criminal cases are in pain more and longer than the other cases where the individuals who’d died of illness, because their loved ones were taken from them, without prior warnings, and it’s caused by “man”, and, as they were healing up, they’d still had to withstand the emotions that came as the cases got, overturned, and, the support for one another in the families, is especially important during this time.

Yang told, that during the investigations, the trials, it wasn’t necessary the district attorneys, the judges who’d, hurt the families again, sometimes, it’s the attitudes of the perpetrators, the dead can’t defend her/himself, but, the perpetrators can use the court sessions, to give the deceased a bad reputation, smearing their names, making the families of the victims feel even more pain.

Lee’s father, when he was still living, would always show up in court to listen to the trials, on the not-guilty verdict was stated on the first trial, he’d stated, “Outrageous” outside the courthouse, and the families also mentioned how displeased he’d felt, as he’d listened in the court sessions, and even though he’d not objected loudly in court, but everybody who knew him felt how upset he was getting.

Actually, there are a lot of the families of the victims who felt hurt a second time as the final verdict of the judge was read, and the testimonies of the perpetrators, especially in the recent cases of the schizophrenic patients, as the families of the victims went to the courts to listen, it reminded them of the loss, which made it even harder, for them, to heal back up.

But currently, the protections for the victims, other than monetary assistance, and helping them fight the case, in the rebuilding of the victims’ families, the justice systems still hadn’t, put much work in, there’s still, a ton of room for improvement.

Lin and Hsieh, whose son and daughter were killed by drunk driver and murdered both said, that the hatred, the pains from, losing a child, nobody will know, they still couldn’t, let it go to this very day.

And so, this, is how the justice system neglected to note the impacts of how the families of the murder victims, after all, they are, the survivors who must, keep on living after their loved ones had been, taken abruptly, without warning, and more needs to be done, to help these families who’d suffered such losses, but, currently, the systems are just, not set up yet.
