The Picnic by the River, the Father & Daughter Fell into the River, the Father Went Missing

An originally, happy family outing, that ended, quite, tragically, safety concerns here, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

Hu and his three children and wife at noon yesterday went out to a picnic by the river close to Beishi Creek of Hsinbei City, his daughter in her twenties slipped and fell into the creek, the parents leapt in to save her, the mother and daughter swam to safety, but Hu was carried away by the raging water that rose up high due to recent downpours, the police and fire department came out and searched for him until last night at seven, still couldn’t find him, and because there’s little light up in the mountains, they couldn’t see a thing, the rescue halted temporarily, and at eight in the morn, the search resumed.

Based off of understanding, the fifty-eight year-old Hu and his family of five went picnicking by the creek, as his daughter was taking a shot, she’d accidentally slipped off the rocks, fell into the creek, Hu went after her, successfully got her out, and was carried away by the water that was suddenly on the rise, the family members were flustered over it.

The Ruifang Police Substation pointed out, that the accident happened at 3:25 in the afternoon yesterday, as the substation received the calls, they’d immediately sent the Taiping Office manager, Lin, the officer, Fang, to work along side twenty-three more fire department rescuers to find the man.

The police and firefighters pointed out, that it was a hiking sight on the spot, right next to the river, the location was quite far off, the water was too fast, there’s no cell reception either, the drive up the mountains along is over an hour, that it was, a hard place to conduct the rescues, and this accidental slip into the river valley, the parents leapt in bravely, saved the daughter, the father ended up missing, the rescuers are going to resume searching for the missing man today.

And so, chances are, this father is, dead, and this was an originally family outing that should’ve been happy, and it still ended up, tragically, and this still just showed, how you should NOT go someplace that’s, too remote to “hang”, because the rescuers can’t get there in time, to save your life, if you’re in some sort of a trouble, like this man who bravely leapt in, to save his own daughter.
