Life, the Obstacle Course

The Law Can’t Place Restrictions on the Loyalties in a Marriage

Why not, huh???  We’re only, “legally” married here, aren’t we???  And here, the marriage would only become valid, until we register it either in court, or at the local land offices, or maybe, this is based off of the beliefs, of personal freedoms???  Commentaries from the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Grand Justices’ interpretations of adultery charges being unconstitutional, it’d, matched up to the international beliefs of basic human rights; it’s just, that there’s, a difference from the east to the west, on marriage, how do we, people in this nation, try to adapt to, this is not, based off of only the legislations.

I recalled when I was in my master’s program, an American female professor pointed out, that once we were discussing a matter of extramarital affair, I’d curiously inquired, if your husband has another woman, how would you react?  I didn’t expect, that she’d, taken this, relaxed demeanor, replied, “then, I can, take up with a boyfriend too!”

From then on, I’d understood, the differences between culture from the east and the west.  The western world place emphasis on the matter of gender equality and being responsible, they would NOT use the law, to restrict the loyalty in a marriage, believed, that when something’s up in a marriage, it’s both the husband AND the wife who needed to face up to the issues, and deal with it.

From now on, the decriminalization of adultery, is this, admitting to the weakness in human nature, for the sake of saving a marriage, or, could it cause there to be, more extramarital affairs, causing the quality of marriage to decline even more; the key is, how people viewed marriage differently, and the interpretations of the law will alter accordingly.

So, marriage is still, on the front of personal rights, I have the right, to marry whoever the HELL I want to, and by the same token, I have the right to divorce whoever the #$%@ (maxed out!) I’m married to, and, to some extent, the loyalty in a marriage, and I don’t have to stay faithful, to just one man/woman, IF I don’t want to!  That, is what this newly reinterpretation of the marriage law is saying, and that’s still, BULLSHIT!
