The Man, Born in Poverty-Stricken Home, Married into a Rich Woman’s Family, Felt that He Was High Enough in the Statuses in His Family, Before He’d Murdered, He’d Asked for $10,000N.T. to Live, and Was Denied.
The seventy-eight year-old man, Weng believed that he was of low status in his own home, and how his ninety-two-year-old mother-in-law was always on his own wife’s side when they’d argued, two days ago in the early morning hours, as his mother-in-law was asleep, he’d, hacked her with a fruit knife four times, the district attorney asked the courts to have him in custody; the judge believed, that although Weng was paralyzed down half of his body, and used a cane to get around, but he’d, stated how he was going to, attack, and hurt his own mother-in-law and his wife’s side of the family, and this time he’d, actually, done it, for the safety of everybody else in his family, he was, taken into, police custody.
The neighbors told, that Weng came from a poverty stricken background, he’d married into his wife’s family, his wife’s side of the family is very well-to-do, with a lot of land, Weng felt that he wasn’t, looked upon as highly as he should have, and had been on bad terms with the family since he was young.

At around five in the morning two days ago, Weng in his residence in Section 2, Bade Road, of Songshan District, hacked at his mother-in-law, Hwa who was asleep in her room, the elderly screamed out in pain, Weng’s daughter woke, rushed into the bedroom, got the knife away from her own father, and called the police. The elderly woman sustained a knife wound on her neck, three cuts on her arms, was rushed to the hospital, and is in no life-threatening danger.
Based off of understanding, Weng couldn’t get the $10,000N.T. he wanted for allowance from his wife, got into an argument with her on the evening before he’d hacked his mother-in-law, the mother-in-law sided with his own wife, it’d caused Weng to feel upset about her.
As the police asked the elderly man, Weng why he’d done it, he’d claimed, “I planned to kill her”, claimed that his status in his home had been low for years on end, that his mother-in-law was like the emperor dowager, that his wife was like, the empress dictator, very strong; and then, he’d, switched to claiming that he’d not known why he’d, attempted to murder his mother-in-law.
The police investigated, that Weng had been paralyzed on the left side of his body for twenty-five years to date, relied on a cane to get around, lived in with his wife’s family, there are also, two granddaughter who were, living with him, he’d lived in a household, of, four generations.
And so, this man, finally CRACKED, and this is still, a built up, and that fight with his wife, was merely, that final straw, because this man was married INTO his wife’s family, he’d felt that he was treated as, inferior to the rest of her family, and, all of these, displease accumulated through the years, and finally, he’d, CRACKED, and attempted to MURDER his own mother-in-law!
