The Indonesian woman, Wang suspected that her ex-husband whom she was cohabiting with was having an affair, and had troubles in her own work, disagreement on how to raise her children, after an argument in 2018, as her ex-husband and daughter were sleeping, she’d, hacked them and murdered them; the first and second trial charged her with murder, and because she’d turned herself in, the courts mandated that she is to serve twenty-eight years in prison, stripped of her government post for a decade, Wang was displeased, filed for an appeal, the Highest Courts tossed back her appeal.
The verdict stated, that back in 2002, Wang married the man whom she’d met for seven days, Wu, because she’d wanted to send money back to her home in Indonesia, she’d started working at the motel owned by her husband’s family as a cleaning lady, she suspected that her husband was having an affair, got into argument a lot, they’d gotten divorced a total of three times, but still cohabited together.
And, Wang started feeling upset over how the living habits, the methods of raising up her daughter, not getting along well enough with her in-laws long-term, and argued with Wu a lot, which sparked her thought of murder, in November of 2018, she bought a fruit knife, and, stashed it inside the drawer of her bedroom, the following month on the seventh, early around the midnight hours, they’d started arguing again, after Wang withdrew all her saving out of her account in the post office, she’d stabbed Wu with the knife in his sleep, as Wu woke from the pain, he’d cried out for help to his parents, and Wang pursued him, and stabbed him a total of nineteen times.
After Wang murdered her own ex-husband, she’d thought of how her fifteen-year-old daughter didn’t follow her commands, and how she’d, favored her own father, she’d gone into her daughter’s room, stabbed her own young seventeen times continually, killing her own daughter in her sleep.
Wu’s parents called the police, told them that the couple had an argument and attacked each other and both were injured, but Wang took herself to the local substation, turned herself in, admitted to murdering her ex-husband and her daughter too; during the trials she’d admitted to murder too, and, the families of the victims bore witness to her murdering their young, and hoped the courts could sentence her to die.
The courts investigated, found, that before she’d murdered her ex-husband and her daughter, she was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and depression, and other conditions, but she’d lacked awareness of her own illness, not taken her medication as she should have, the psych evaluation showed, that Wang didn’t show any apparent signs of psychosis, that as she was murdering her husband and daughter, she was not under the influence of a mental condition, that she’d not lost her ability to tell right from wrong, that she’d not fitted to the qualifications of a reduced sentence.
The first and second trials took into consideration, who cruel Wang was in murdering her ex-husband and daughter, but she’d turned herself in, and admitted to murder, the murder of her ex, she was sentenced to fifteen years, and murdering her own young, she’d received twenty years, and she is to serve out twenty-eight years total; the Highest Courts tossed back the appealed, case closed.
And, this is still, the results, after that final straw came down, imagine how much hatred, how much anger must be in this woman, for her, to murder her own ex-husband, and her own young so brutally, and maybe, this woman had the confirmed diagnosis of schizophrenia, but the psych evaluation showed, that she KNEW what she was doing, when she committed the murders, which was why such a heavy sentence was, passed down.
