The Man with Schizophrenia Who’d Murdered His Own Wife the D.A. Believed the Measures He Took to Murdering His Wife Being Too Cruel, Asked the Courts to Keep Him in Custody

An engineer, Lee who as diagnosed with schizophrenia, last month in his residence in Shalu, Taichung, was suspected of being overwhelmed by the pressures of economics, murdered his own wife who’d told him she wanted a divorce, and after he’d murdered his own wife, he’d, attempted suicide out of guilt, as the paramedics rushed him to the hospital, he got better, and was released from the hospital, last night, the district attorneys interrogated Lee, believed, that his murdering his own wife in front of his two young children, that he was cruel in the measures, and asked the courts to have him in custody on charge of murder, the courts held the hearings overnight.

The head of the D.A.’s office in Taichung, Lin stated, Lee was diagnosed with schizophrenia, that the murder he’d committed, could get him up to over five years of prison term, that he runs the flight risks, that he’d murdered his own wife in front of their two-year-old and five-year-old sons, using such brutal measures, that there’s this necessity, to have him in custody.

Around the midnight hours of the 29^th of last month, the Chingshuay Police’s Minghsiu Substation received a call, saying that a couple was fighting hard, as the officers arrived, they saw the woman, Lu (age 30), lying in a pool of blood through the windows, back then, Lee had a knife, and looked like he was attacking her, the police immediately barged in, and stopped him.

As Lee saw the police, he’d started, stabbing the knife into his own abdomen, the police immediately used pepper spray to stop him, then, notified the paramedics to lift them both to the hospital, Lu was declared dead.

Yesterday Lee was discharged from the hospitals, and the Chingshuay Police Substation immediately called him in, and after the interrogations, he was charged with murder, taken into custody, sent to the D.A.’s office.

And so we still have, yet, another case of schizophrenic, murdering his own wife who wanted to divorce him, and, it wouldn’t matter if this man was diagnosed with the condition, he had, murdered his own wife, in such a brutal manner, with young children in the house.  And I’m sure, that his “defense” of being “mentally ill” won’t do any good!
