Yeah, the values of these, younger generations, well, I don’t need to say anything anymore, do I??? Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
Two adolescents in Hsinchu, during the Memorial holidays, stayed in, and, played the card games for money, after Lin the teen lost $400,000N.T., he was suspected of having his companion, Wang as a kidnapper, and, called up his own grandmother, to get the money; Lin’s grandmother heard the calls for help, felt that it was weird, she’d, gone to give the money pretentiously, and called the cops, the cops arrested the two teens, sent them both to juvenile court.
The game is a measure of gambling, a card game played by the foreign spouses from Vietnam, China, or played among the migrant workers, winning fast, losing fast, in recent years, it’d become, the game most frequently played in the gambling it’d caused families tragedies before. In May of 2017, a Vietnamese woman played the game, and lost six million dollars in an instant, the couple had sold off their property, and was still $1.2 million N.T.s short, they’d ended up committing suicide. In May of the following year, two middle school students played the game, and, one was tricked, and owed $1.1 million N.T.s in gambling debts, he was dumbfounded, and, the persons who runs the rings used a machete to threaten him, in the end, the parents came forth, and solved the matters.
The local police investigate, that Lin the adolescent, on the first day of the long Memorial Day weekend got bored, went to Wang’s place, and the two decided to play the games on a whim. At first, they’d put up a thousand dollars each, then, they’d, started, gambling bigger, bigger, and bigger still, to placing the bets at $5,000N.T., $10,000N.T. per game.
And, in the few short hours in the morn, Lin had lost $400,000N.T. total, he’d, taken the slips that he’d signed, confirmed that he’d owed the money, and couldn’t pay up, and, he’d, started, thinking of scamming his own grandmother for the amount. Lin told Wang to play a kidnapper, calling up his grandmother, while Lin stood close by, hollered, “Grandma, what do I do?”
But, because Lin’s calls for help sounded, too fake, it’d caused his grandmother to suspect. She’d first agreed to pay, and, agreed to meet up with Wang at a the front of a local fast food restaurant, handed over the money, then, called the cops, and, she’d, gone with the cops, to have him arrested.
In the interrogations, Lin denied having scammed his grandmother with Wang, and Wang claimed that it was because Lin couldn’t pay up the debts he’d owed himself, and wanted him to get the money from his family, nobody was portraying the kidnapper, and the kidnapped. Lin’s grandmother thought, that these two young men had done wrong, and still wouldn’t admit it insisted on suing them both for attempted fraud. The police took down in paper, and, sent the two adolescents to the courts.
The second of Civil Law, was applied in this case. The legal realm pointed out, gambling is against the orders of the society, that there’s no asking of the gambling debts to get paid back, and so, there’s that beliefs of “gambling debts aren’t considered as debts”, in the legal systems.
And yeah, what do you think your grandmother is??? STUPID??? And this just showed, how mother FUCKING (no, don’t pardon me here!!!) STUPID these god damn younger generations are, or that, you can see it as, opportunists, trying to SCAM their families, either way, we’re still looking at these bad people as the ones who will, lead us tomorrow, into what??? I don’t have to answer that now, do I???
