Taking You Off the Page

It’s time, taking you off the page, you’d been there, too long now!  Taking you off the page, because, you’d, stopped, mattering to me, ‘cuz had you still mattered, you’d still be on that page, wouldn’t you???  Uh-huh!

But I’m, taking you off the page, deleting you completely, from my life, ‘cuz you don’t matter to me no more (and so, your point being???).  Taking you off the page, that’s, what I have to do, and yet, with each and every page I flip through, you’re, always, right there, it’s like, I can’t, get rid of you.

Taking you off the page, I’d already done that, and, who are you again?  And, have we ever met?  Yeah, I don’t think so, and, I’d, grown, cold, and yes, I’m, the ICE QUEEN, not to be confused with, ICE-CREAM, I know how these two sound alike, and, some of you may get a bit, confused, as to which is which, so, there, I’d, clarified everything up for all of y’all now….
