A student employee of a certain gas station in the city of Hsinbei, the eighteen-year-old, Ke, two days ago, falsely claimed to a female customer that he had MERS-CoV, that he felt his “chest heating up”; the woman was thrilled she’d called up the disease prevention center, and she was worried that she may have contracted the virus, didn’t dare to go home to her families. And, as Ke was taken in, he’d told the officials that he was, only joking, and he was charged with breaking the laws on the prevention of the spread of MERS-CoV, and falsely reporting that he had contracted the virus.
Two afternoons ago, when the part-timing student employee, Ke was helping a woman fill up her gas, he wasn’t wearing a mask, and the woman inquired, “don’t you need a mask on in your line of work?”, Ke replied back to her, “I was confirmed of MERS-CoV, so it’s fine that I’m not wearing a mask”.
The woman was shocked, “Are you serious?”, Ke replied careless, “yes, I feel heated in my chest, and I’m taking my medications too!”
The woman immediately called the hotline 1922 to report, and worried that she may have contracted the virus too, and not dared heading home, fearing she may pass it to her husband, her children; the case got uploaded to the local groups on FB, it’d caused great discussion, as well as, panic too, and, everybody started asking about the location of the gas station.
As the Sanchong Police Substation found out about this matter, they’d, immediately contacted the woman to understand what happened, and thirty minutes, they’d, taken Ke into the station, and confirmed that he wasn’t, diagnosed with MERS-CoV, that he wasn’t in quarantine, or being, tested for it.
Ke originally stated with ease, that he felt displeased of how the woman grilled him, he’d just, blurted it out, trying to scare her. But as the police told him, that his behaviors had, broken the 14th addendum to the newly passed legislature during time of MERS-CoV, that his three simple sentences may get him to serve anywhere under three years of prison terms, being held in police custody, and/or, fined up to three million dollars N.T., his face turned green.
As the woman learned of the truth, she’d hoped that Ke had, learned HIS lesson, to NOT make a joke about something that’s, so serious.
And so, this still just showed, how STUPID (hello, hello, hello???), the younger generations ARE, they think it’s no big deal, but, this careless joke that stopped being funny had, caused the woman, full-blown panic, and it got the police involved, and, this IDIOT who thought it was something funny, to tell the woman that he’d, contracted the virus, didn’t have a C-L-U-E, and, I’m sure he’d, learned the lessons, the H-A-R-D way, because this is, NO joking matter!
