A huge H-O-L-E, in the JUSTICE systems here, because you turned yourself in, your original punishment of getting the DEATH penalty for MURDER allows you to get a “free pass” of life-in-prison, how’s that justice, for the families of the ones you’d, murdered, huh??? The archery coach, Chen’s been accused of raping the female student, Kao, strangling her to death, then, dismembering her body, tossed the pieces of her corpse in seven separate places, on the first trial, he was given the death sentence of murder, dismemberment and rape, stripped of his public post for life. The Highest Courts took into considerations that Chen had, “turned himself in”, changed his death sentence to life in prison, this can be appealed.
Kao’s father came to court yesterday, upon hearing the verdict, he stated in an interview afterwards, “I’m so disappointed, I feel so much pain I can’t ever recover from this………this sort of a psycho murderer, only receiving life-in-prison, this doesn’t fit to the expectation of the society”. The first trial believed, that Chen murdered Kao, because she wouldn’t let him have sex, he’d, raped her, then, murdered her, and the measures he’d used, were extremely, cruel, that he’d shown, malice, and there’s, a necessity to keep him away from the rest of the society, he was given the death penalty.
After Chen was taken into custody, he kept stating, that he’d, gone to the substation to turn himself in after the crime, that it’d, fitted to the reduction of sentence clause of the law; but, the substation responsible for investigating the calls told, that since the woman’s family reported her missing, the police had, zoomed in on Chen’s involvement, that in the first trials, they’d not believed, he’d turned himself in freely.
During the trial of the High Courts, Chen still pushed the responsibilities of the murder and the rape to an unknown male he called, “Eric”, and, the courts called the four college students who were drinking with him together, they’d all testified that they’d not “known what had happened”, that they’d, left earlier, that nobody knew “Eric”. The family scolded, that Chen was lying about everything, and falsified himself as a native of Taiwan, to teach archery, during the time when their daughter was missing, Chen had even posted onto their daughter’s FB pages, “Tell us you’re, okay”.
And, although the High Courts disbelieved the blames of the woman’s death that Chen placed on “Eric”, but, based off of how he’d admitted to destroying, and abandoning the woman’s body, it’d helped the police recovered the murder weapon, the motorcycle to which he’d ridden to dispose of the woman’s body, and helping the police discovered her dismembered parts, the courts believed, that he had, fitted, to the criteria of turning himself in.
And this loser got away, with the DEATH penalty, and on the one hand, sure, he will, still have his life, but, he’ll, serve the rest of his life in the imprisonment of his own, GUILTY conscience, for murdering, and dismembering the woman, and, if that’s not cruel, then I don’t know what is, and this is still not, justice served, according to how the woman’s families see it at all.
