Here’s, something wonderful that’s, happened here, locally, in times of, the P-L-A-G-U-E! Off of the Newspapers, translated…
“Dad, dad, can we give some masks to the police department?”, an eight-year-old girl, in Keelung, two days ago, pulled her father’s hand, made her way into the local police station, and gave the seventy surgical masks the two of them bought, that they’d not used up, to the local police precinct.
The man, Hu stated, because of the MERS-CoV outbreaks are still ongoing, in order to reduce the risk of infection, he’d not dared taking his loved ones out, recently he and his daughter saw on the news of how those in quarantine are still, traveling around, the daughter suggested to the father, to give some of their extra supplies of unused surgical masks to the police, to thank them for working so hard during this period. The man never expected his daughter to thought of this, in order to help her fulfill her wish, he’d taken her to the substation, to give the unused masks in their home to the police, and for her to meet the officer in person.
The child looked up to the officer, and enjoyed watching the cartoons where the police bust the bad guys. “Thank you for protecting our community, Mr. Officer, do remember to put the masks on”, she’d, delivered the box of medical-grade surgical masks to the hands of the police, although she was, a bit shy, but she was, grinning ear to ear.

The station manager, Hsu stated, that he was grateful for the child and her father’s gift, although there were only, a small number of masks, but, it was from the father and the daughter’s heading over to the local pharmacies weekly and saved up, to a total of seventy pieces, and given as a gift to the police department.
And so, this showed, how much this young child had the heart, to show someone else that she was appreciative of their hard work, and, it still showed, how kind children can be.
