He was, the runt of the pack, the one that was, last picked (or rather, he wasn’t!), the one that, after all of his, brothers and sisters, were adopted out, that’s, left behind in the pound.
And the pound owner, she took pity on him, so, instead, of sending him to the kill-shelters, she’d, started, raising him up herself. The runt of the pack, the owner thought, why should he not get equal chance as the rest of, his, siblings who are, bigger, huh? And, isn’t, every single life equal? That was, what made her, took pity on him, I guess…

And, this, tiniest, runt of the pack, who was, thought to, not have, enough of a chance, to grow into, adulthood, with the pound owner’s, care and attention, survived, and, because the owner of the pound offered him, undivided attention, a ton of love, he’d, grown up, stronger, than the rest of his, siblings who were all, adopted out, way before he was, taken in, by the owner of the pound, out of, pity for him.
The runt of the pack, that was, what he, once was, and now, he became, the leader, of the pack, he always, walked, ahead, when the owner of the pound took the group out for their, daily exercises, and, at feeding time, as the bowls were, put down, he’s, the first, to dig in…

And, this, runt of the pack, is, no more, the runt, of his, original pack, he’s now, the leader, of his, brand new, pack……………
