Impulse control issues, with the raging teenage hormones, yeah, that’s, a DEADLY, combo all right!!! Manslaughter charges of a fight here, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
Yesterday, the middle school students, Liu and Lee walked home from school, they’d started having a verbal altercation, Liu took out a craft’s knife to threaten his classmate, Lee called shouted, “You think you’re something with that knife?”, Liu was displeased how Lee verbally insulted him, threw the craft’s knife at his classmate, not imagining what happened next: the knife cut open Lee’s left carotid, causing him to bleed to death.
Based off of understanding, the police took Liu into custody, and, they’re, looking into the details of what exactly, had happened, and they’re, having the district attorneys to decide if a criminal act had occurred, if so, the adolescent will be tried in juvenile court.
Based off of the law, if the juvenile court had, decided that it was physical assault leading to death or murder charges, then, the case will be sent to the D.A.’s office to prosecute; if it’s manslaughter or something lighter, then, the case will continued to be tried in juvenile court.
The legal front said, that in this case, Liu only wanted to teach his classmate a lesson, that he had the intent to hurt his classmate, and he could, predict how throwing the craft knife at him might cause an injury, in the end, leading to Lee’s death, and this is a serious crime based off of the penal codes, and, the case may be tried as a manslaughter case.
The police found, that Liu and Lee were students of the same middle school, they walk home together regularly, after school yesterday, they’d decided to go out for a drink together, but, as they were walking, Lee was suspecting of making fun of Liu using a nickname, they had a verbal altercation, then, Liu took out a wide craft’s knife from his backpack to threaten Lee, but Lee disregarded it, and still, verbally insulted him, in the end, he was, murdered.
The witnesses testified, that they were both fighting in the streets, one of them pulled out a craft’s knife, the other shouted, “You think you’re something with that?”, Liu was displeased how Lee had called him out, extended his arms forward, went toward Lee, to about an arm’s length, and because he’d been pushed repeatedly, he’d, thrown the knife at the victim, and, the knife cut open the victim’s left side of neck, the blood came pouring out.
The local fire department received a call at around four in the afternoon, that a student was stabbed in the city, they’d sent out the paramedic crews from the borough to rescue, and, as they arrived, they saw one teen lying on the ground, with blood covering up the pavement, the craft knife was, dropped to the side; the paramedics rushed the victim in, but, because his carotid was already, severed, he’d, died on the way.
The police were then notified, Liu was at the scene of the crime, dumbfounded, the police took Liu in to question, and, heard his side of the story of what happened during the altercations.
And this, is, a MANSLAUGHTER charge, because, the teen took out the knife, to scare his friend, he’d not intended to murder him, and, in a moment of lapse in his judgment, he’d, murdered someone, and now, he’ll be, punished for it.
