Who Shot Her? The Testimonies of the Two Men Don’t Match Up
On the first of the month, the woman, Lai from Miaoli was shot to death, and her body disposed of in the Sanxia’s mountainside of Hsinbei City, the district attorneys and the police investigated, and found her boyfriend, Hong and, Wu, whom they’d already taken into custody were both, in murdering the woman, as for Hong’s older sister’s knowing the matter, she was, listed, as an accomplice, yesterday, the brother-sister pair were taken into the D.A.’s office on charges of murder, as the district attorney’s interviewed both, they had the man in custody, while his older sister out on $20,000N.T. bail.
Based off of understanding, Hong insisted, that it was Wu who’d shot Lai, which didn’t match up to Wu’s testimonies. The police believed, that they may be accomplices in the murder, and that the older sister of Hong knew about her younger brother’s actions, and covered it up after-the-fact.
On the first of the month, Lai lost contact with her husband’s family, on the fourth, the Taoyuan local police department received her missing person’s report, they’d interviewed Hong and the others, but, didn’t get anything out of them then; until on the eighth, the police caught Hong, Wu, for being involved in abduction and gun charges, and accidentally found out, that Lai had been, murdered already.
Based off of understanding, the police immediately took Wu who was caught on charges of possession of firearms, and interrogated him, and based off of his descriptions, they’d found the location where the woman’s body was, disposed of, and zoomed in on the brother-sister pair, who may have been involved in the matter, then, they’d, broken through the guards of Hong, the sister, and found out where Hong had gone. As Hong was taken into custody, he’d denied the murder allegations, claimed that it was Wu who’d, shot the woman, but Wu insisted that it was Hong who’d, fired the gun.
Hong, the older sister told the police, that her younger brother suspected that Lai was cheating on him, and Lai had, used verbal insults and angered her brother, they got into a huge fight, afterwards, Lai was taken to the mountains, gunned down, and, tossed off the slopes. As the murder was being committed, she’d, stayed in the car, only heard three shots fired, didn’t witness the murder, she’d come clean to the police, that before that, the four of them were high on illegal substances for days on end.
Yesterday as the police interrogated the brother and sister pair, they’d, gone to the jails to take the statement of Wu, and checked to see if the statements, matched up.
The specialist task stated, that in the past, Hong had been married before, that he was violent toward his ex-wife, and gotten into conflict with the police, that they’re not, ruling out the possibilities of him having committed the murders right now.
And so, the woman is dead, and, the police are trying, to see which of the men is, telling them the truth, and this just showed, how it’s not safe, to date anyone, with a history of violence, men or women, because, if you want to leave an abusive relationship, chances are, you’re, going to, get murdered, like this woman was!
