Yesterday morn, Kuo came back home to visit his parents from Miaoli, as he’d entered into the house, he was shocked to find his mother, Lin (age 56) lying in a pool of blood, with over a dozen knife injures on her thorax, her abdomen, and both her hands, clearly dead. The sixty-five-year-old father also had knife wounds on her chest, and forearms, he was covered in blood as well, and looked, unstable, he’d, immediately called the police, after his father was rushed into the E.R., he was patched up, and was in no critical danger.
Based off of understanding, the son of the deceased at around ten at night two evenings ago, spoke to his mother, said that he was going to the ophthalmologist up north yesterday, that he’ll make it home. But, as he’d entered into his home early in the morn, he went into his mother’s bedroom, saw his mother, covered in blood, already dead, and he saw his father, covered in blood too. His father started, rambling, looked very emotional, “Two nights ago I had a fight with your mother, I got too angered, and, killed your mother with a fruit knife”.
Weng has a son and a daughter, was diagnosed with severe depression, had been medicated by the psychiatrist, because of his condition, he stopped working for over twenty years on end, his wife took in the handiwork to make the money to raise the children. Although they would fight from time to time, but, there wasn’t any signs of serious disagreement between them.
The police found the murder weapon, the fruit knife that Kuo used in the bedroom on the bed, and because the woman talked with her son at around ten two evenings ago, the time of death was believed to be anywhere between late last night to early this morn at around one o’clock.
The Haishan Police called the district attorney and the coroners from Hsinbei to autopsy, they’d found that there were, over a dozen injuries on the woman’s body, primarily on the chest, the abdomen, and the arms, that the stab that killed her was probably the one in the chest, and that, she’d, bled out from her injuries.
And so, this tragedy was, caused by the heat of the moment, the elderly man got angered, and lost it, killed his own wife, and this happens a lot, because when we’re fighting, we lost our heads, we can’t keep cool, and, in an instant, we have the tendencies, to hurt each other, in unimaginable, irreparable, ways, like this case had, proven.
