“No Intentions of Murder”, the Nanny Smothering an Infant Male Indictment, the Family Thought it was Not Harsh Enough

It should be, MURDER, given how this woman had, smothered the young infant boy to D-E-A-T-H!!!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A chain nursery center in Taipei, last year in April, the forty-year-old nanny, Liao smothered an infant boy, Lee to death, the Shihlin District Attorney’s found no evidence of her intentionally murdering the young infant boy, charged her with negligence yesterday.

The parents were dissatisfied of the Shihlin D.A.’s results of investigation, held a press conference yesterday, blamed the district attorney, “bad logic in considerations of the indictment charges”.  The Shihlin D.A.’s office stated, that they can understand the loss of the family members of this young infant boy, but, they’d done everything based off of the collected evidence.

The indictment stated, that at around one in the afternoon on April 1st of last year, in order to calm the under-a-year-old young infant male to down to put him down for a nap, she’d used her body, her arms, pressed down on the male infant’s head for around nineteen minutes, causing the young infant to suffocate to death.  Wu, the cook of the nursery came in to the classroom, found something was wrong with the infant boy, after the infant boy was, rushed to the hospital, he’d still, died.

The forensic reports from the autopsy showed, that the infant male was sleeping on his abdomen, because he was pressed down on, in the end, he’d, suffocated, and died from asphyxiation.  The infant’s parents accused the nanny, Liao of murder.

The Shihlin D.A.’s offices pointed out, that murder charges are for those with the intents of committing it, and, the current evidence the law enforcement had, collected showed, no such intent, and the surveillance footages showed, that as Liao found the baby not breathing, she had performed CPR to attempt to save his life.

In the interrogations, Lai stated, that the infant male was placed in the nursery at almost two months of age, he grew quickly, she’d only wanted him to fall asleep soon, that she’d not hoped for any of this to have happened.

The infant’s mother spoke in a press conference, that Liao weighed about ninety kilograms, and her son was only ten kilograms, that the nanny was on top of her son for almost twenty minutes, “She definitely knew this would’ve, killed him, and it’s not called, murder?”, toward the indictment charges posed by the district attorneys, “the two parties don’t have any bad feelings, besides, the nanny, upon realizing that the infant wasn’t breathing, had started, performing CPR on him immediately”, so it wasn’t, murder, the families questioned, “What kind of logic is that?”

During the press conference, the couple, the Lees couldn’t stop crying, the father stated, that in the nineteen minute footage, he’d watched, as his son struggled, by the second, to live, “and now, he’s, gone”.  Lee also questioned on how the staff members found his son to have died of asphyxiation, what’s going on?

And so, it’s, definitely, NOT as plain or simple as it looked, because, this woman IS, a certified nanny, and she should’ve known, how her pressing down on an infant child can, cause him to die, it’s just, that no physical evidence of murder had been, found, that’s why, the district attorney can, only charge this woman with negligence homicide, instead of, MURDER, but it was, M-U-R-D-E-R!!!
