The Canadian man, Ramgahan Sanjay Ryan due to conflicts in drug dealings, two years ago in August, he was, dismembered by his accomplices in drug dealership, and dumped in the Xindian Creeks, two days later, as his dog led the way, his friend discovered his body parts. Yesterday, the Hsinbei District Court found the three foreign men and one Taiwanese man guilty of murder, destroying the body, and physical assault, accomplices in the murder, six months to life in prison.
The primary suspect, Mayer Oren Shlomo, received a life sentence and three years six months for murder and dismemberment of the corpse of the victim, and the abandonment of the corpse, stripped of his government post forever; Bent who’d assisted Shlomo (American citizen), was charged with the same counts as Shlomo, and sentenced to serve twelve years six months; even the accomplice who’d only helped moved the body, Jason (American citizen), who’d brought the clean clothes for the suspects to change into, along with Wu (Taiwan citizen), who was only a lookout on the other side of the park, were setenced to a year and six months, and six months, for aiding and abetting. And, the men’s charges of money laundering from the sales of the illegal substances were all found, not guilty.
The indictment stated, Ramgahan Sanjay Ryan met Mayer Oren Shlomo through his wife (already deceased) who’d worked in the tattoo parlor owned by Mayer Oren Shlomo, they all have the habits of smoking marijuana, they’d become, partners in dealing the marijuana, and slowly, they’d become, an organized dealer group with Jason, He, Wu and others. Because Ryan was caught with possession two years ago in May, he was only, sent to the rehabilitation units to get detoxed, he’d wanted out of the drug dealing business, but had no intentions of turning over the client list to the others, Shlomo thought he might be working with the police as an informant, two years ago, on August 21st, Ryan was murdered by the Riverside Park.
During the trial, Bent stated said, that on the day of the murder, he’d gone with Shlomo to the riverside park to find Ryan, the three chatted for a bit, suddenly, someone set off the fireworks, and Shlomo took out the saw wires, and started strangling Ryan, and cut open Ryan’s airway with a craft knife, and afterwards he’d gone to Jason for a clean change of clothes and the gas to destroy the evidence of his murder. Jason and Wu admitted to buying up the weapons and the gas, but testified that they didn’t know that Shlomo was planning on murdering Ryan, that after they’d learned, they’d worried for their own lives that’s why they’d kept their, silences.
As Shlomo was taken in, he’d told the cops, that Jason was the one who’d planned everything. But the courts found evidence that he’d once sent the location of the look out to the others, the packed clothes, he’d prepared, and handed it over to Jason, they’d not believed his testimonies.
And so, this concluded this case, the Israeli man was sentenced to life in prison, and hopefully, he’ll be serving his entire term until he dies here in Taiwan, that he won’t be, extradited back to Israel, because the murder occurred here, and this is still all caused by drugs!
