Love and murder, this pair, seemed, inseparable these days (and yeah, that’s, still, SARCASM talkin’ here!!!) again, it’d been happening, nonstop, for reasons unknown in the world right now! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The man, Liao had, stabbed his ex-girlfriend, Georgie Chou who’s a YouTuber to death, then, strangled her, at his first trial, he was found guilty of murder, sentenced to fifteen years. In the High Courts trial sessions, Liao got down on his knees, begged Chiu’s father for forgiveness, but Chiu’s father didn’t buy it, cussed at him, “I shall never forgive you”, he’d received life in prison for his second trial, and stripped of his government position for the rest of his life; the Highest Courts tossed back the appeal, case closed.
Liao (age 28) had worked as a photographer, shoe store clerk, and for the sales department of a Stream Live company; as he was on trial, he’d been placed on pay leave, lived off of his own savings. Liao and Chiu had been dating for a little over three years, after they broke up back in February, 2018, Liao felt uneven, on May 22nd in the evenings, he brought a fruit knife, waited for Chiu in the stairs of her residence, as she was opening the doors, he’d forced her to enter into her place, tried to attempt to have her take him back, by threatening to kill himself.
Chiu had tried to break away, to escape out of her own residence many times, but Liao blocked her from leaving, he’d used the knife, stabbed at her left back repeatedly, Chiu ran into her home, and Liao choked her with his left hand, she was rushed to the hospital, but still, died. The first trial believed, that the woman’s two wounds are five, to six centimeters deep, showing how Liao must’ve, intended, to commit murder; as the victim had been injured, Liao had strangled her with his hands, until she could no longer fight, then, released her, he was sentenced to fifteen years.
The case was put up for appeal, as the High Courts tried the case, Liao testified that he didn’t intend to kill his ex, stated, “I’ll take whatever punishment the courts give to me”, and got up and bowed to Chiu’s father, apologized as he cried, “If I never existed, can it make you less distraught?” “I really, do love your daughter so!”, “I only wanted to protect her!”, he got down on his knees, bowed his head to the ground four times to show his remorse. Chiu’s father couldn’t hold down his anger, “I will never forgive you for the rest of my life!” wanted Liao to feel his own conscience, “You dare say it, I don’t, want to listen to you!”
At the second trial, the judge believed, that Liao prepared the fruit knife the day before he’d murdered the woman, that he’d, planned it already; plus, he’d not reached a settlement agreement with the victim’s families yet, and although he had, bent his back to apologize every time in court, it didn’t constitute as his good behavior after the murder; and, the courts believed, that because Chiu wanted to break up, and was murdered by Liao, if the courts didn’t give him a severe enough punishment, then, the courts couldn’t answer to the society, the courts gave Liao life in prison.
And because of how this woman wanted to break up with this man, he’d, murdered her, and this is just how love easily, turned to, revenge, because she had broken up with him, and he didn’t, want to, let go, so he’d, killed her!
