How would YOU feel, if someone tied a fucking (oopsy!!!) rope around YOUR neck, and DRAGGED you out, huh??? Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
A mixed breed dog in Taichung was chained around the neck, tied to the back of a scooter, then, DRAGGED across the roads, causing it to die, the owner was charged with breaking the laws of animal rights. The judge found the owner of the dog, the elderly man, Yang, guilty, sentenced him to three months in prison, and fined him $200,000N.T., and he can escape his jail time if he paid the fines for that too.
The city’s Animal Protection Department’s secretary, Jiang said, she respected the rulings, and hoped, that through the enforcing of the animal rights protection laws, the people can be warned, so everybody will come to understand, that abusing a dog is not a normal behavior.
The city’s animal protection agency received the reports from the locals on April 11th of last year, that there was, an injured dog that died in the Da-An District, that the wounds looked like drag markings. As the animal protection agency employees arrived on site, they’d found the dog already dead, with its injuries, bone-deep, with the blood drag marks of around 1.1 kilometers long.
The Animal Protections Agency sent the dog’s remains into Zhongxing University for an autopsy, and the university’s veterinary department confirmed, that it’d had about twenty-five percent of its skins dragged off its body, no fractures, internal injuries, or internal bleeding, nor did it look starved, had tumors, or showed any signs of degenerative diseases that may have caused it to die, suspected that the dog’s death was, caused by man, intentionally.
The workers for the Animal Protections checked the surveillance on the streets, and found a man having tied the dog to the back of his scooter, then, rode the scooter back and forth, dragging the dog along; but the footage didn’t show a clear license plate, the police zoomed out around the traffic cameras, and found the owner, an elderly, Yang, and took him into custody.
The Taichung District Court’s verdict read that Yang believed that the black mixed breed dog had often, destroyed his crops, he kept the angers bottled up, on the morning of April 11th at around six, he’d, tied the dog onto the iron rack behind his scooter, dragged him out, then, tossed the dog away, and the dog, due to its, severe injuries, had already, died.
Just because your dog had, destroyed your crops, you still should NOT have abused it to death, and yet you had, and you’re now, charged, with the murder of your own pet, or rather, you got found, guilty, of animal cruelty, when in reality, you should’ve been charged, with MURDER, but because it was an animal that died, the charges of murder couldn’t, stand UP in the courts!
