The Teashop’s Blood-Sucking Loan Shark Pushed Her to Commit Suicide

Pressed, by the loan sharks here!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A teashop in Chiaozhou, Pingdong was suspected of operating an underground loans system, gambling rings, the police searched, and took the man, Hong and five other involved into custody, the police confiscated $3.98 million N.T. in cash at the scene, the Pingdong D.A.’s Office charged Hong, Chou, Chung on organized crimes, threaten to extort money, and other serious charges, asked the courts to have them taken into custody, the courts allowed.

Based off of understanding, the police had found more than thirty victims, from before, the victims were forced to pay high interests on loans they took out and couldn’t pay, they were beaten up, and none had dared come forward, based off of the ledgers the police took in, they’d estimated that the victims ran up to hundreds.

The case busted because a woman from Pingdong took out a $15 million N.T. loan from the loan sharks, and although she was enticed to keep on borrowing more, but in the past two years, she’d, paid up the debts of over $700,000N.T.s, but she was pressed by the loan sharks, she’d gone to the motel, to take the pills to commit suicide, after she was saved, the police found the suicide note, and checked her cell phone records, and suspected that there may be illegal activities going on.

The police chased the leads, and discovered, that the underground bank, also a well-known violent collecting agency, was a teashop in Chiaozhou, Pingdong.  The teashop started putting out the ads locally for the loans they can give out since 2019 privately, with the workers headed into the office for meetings daily.  To get the sales up, after fifteen days of the loans being given out, they would entice the victims to borrow some more money, and, the monthly interest rates reached up to 240-percent monthly, and the police were, alerted.

The police also found a few more other victims, collected the evidences, on December 30th of last year, they went to the teashop to search, confiscated $3.98 million N.T. in cash, and found that the teashop was also, an underground gambling ring, other than taking the bets into custody, the police also confiscated three cars.  At the same time, they’d, arrested the men, “Rice Noodles”, Hong (age 41), Chou (age 34), Chung (age 33), Chen (age 32), Chang (age 28), Hsu (age 28), a total of six men who were, involved, charged them with organized crimes, threaten to extort money, and other major crimes.

Of the men taken into custody, Chou admitted to working as a bookie to take the bets down, he was also charged on counts of illegal gambling.  After the Pingdong D.A.’s office interrogated all who were involved, Hong, Chou, and Chung were taken into police custody, the rest of the other men were out on bail, Chen was sent back home without getting charged.

And so, the victims got exactly what’s coming their ways, they should NOT have taken the loans from the loan sharks, but the deals were, too good, and, who can resist huge amounts of money presented to you, right?  That’s why, these loan sharks are still, up and running, because people are TOO weak to resist a good deal, and the deal, wasn’t even, that good, because, there are, the fine prints the victims always tend to, overlook………
