How the !@#$ did THAT happen, I wonder??? Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
Four years ago, the man, Chun-Hsiung Lin was displeased at how Chiu, a middle school student said she was going to teach his girlfriend a lesson, he’d called his gang to beat, and abuse the teenager, and after the group had, raped the middle school student, and murdered her, they’d, set her body on fire; Lin received a second death sentence, but the Highest Courts decided to toss the verdict, and, sent the case back to retrial, the third retrial believed, that Lin and his accomplices didn’t commit a serious enough crime, and that they can still be reformed, sentenced all five of the involved to life in prison, stripped them of their public posts for life, this can still be appealed.
The third retrial found, that there wasn’t clear evidence that Lin and four others committed the crime intentionally, and the courts can identify their criminal actions as “with most malice”, and based off of the public rulings on the law, it’s not right, to sentence them to death, and, based off of the implementing of the two pacts of the law, which is exercised in the country, so, the courts decided, that all five of the suspects wouldn’t be sentenced to die.
And, by the psych evaluations conducted by the NTU Hospital, they believed, that all five individuals still have a chance of being reformed, but considering the extent of the crime they’d committed, the courts sentenced them to life in prison.
Lin proclaimed himself as “the Three-Ring Gang’s Tiger of Jienshi”, set up the “Eastern Thai League” to extort money, had been caught by the police once for organized crimes before. Lin’s girlfriend, Huang back in 2015, felt displeased at how Chiu, who was mildly retarded called her out, she’d found Lin, his followers, Chen, Gu, He, along with two children who are nine and eleven, they’d slapped Chiu repeatedly, across her face, beating her with their motorcycle helmets, bending her hands, and thrown rocks at her, until the victim was, covered in blood.
And, Lin and his gang asked Chiu, if she wanted to be sexually assaulted, or to get beaten to death, Chiu chose to be sexually assaulted, Lin told his gang members to rape her; the following day, they’d found Chiu to have died, then, they’d, set her body up in flames. Because Chiu’s father didn’t see his daughter for days on end, he’d reported her missing.
The first trial believed that all five of the perpetrators can be reformed, and, sentenced them all to life in prison; the second trial found Lin guilty of physical assault causing death, forced sexual acts, he’d received life in prison, the rest of the gang got twenty to life, the Highest Court tossed back the case; the first retrial sentenced Lin to death, and still got dismissed.
The second trial in the highest appeal court believed that Lin showed NO signs of remorse, sentenced him to death, the other four were given life in prison; but the Highest Court considered, that Lin was willing to put up his properties, to pay for the loss of the adolescent girl’s life, and the families of the victim wanted all of this to get resolved in court, and, because of the amendments of the law, the courts wanted to give Lin another chance, tossed the appeals back to have the case retried.
Yeah uh, if raping someone, then, murdering the individual BRUTALLY is NOT an act of malice, then, what would be, huh? And besides, only because this teen called your girlfriend out, you’d, stepped up, to get even for your girlfriend, and murdered someone brutally, and you only received life? How’s that fair? Or maybe, life in prison, will make you gnawed by your guilty conscience, and that, would be a fate, FAR, FAR, F-A-R worse, than D-E-A-T-H!
