Because some KID sustained an injury, that’s why, the parents are, making, a FEDERAL case out of it!!!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

There was, a small group of students from an elementary school in Keelung after their lunches were over, they took their water bottles, to get the cold water to play games, later on, there was, one of the children who’d, bottled up the heated up, broiling water at 100-degrees Celsius, handed it over to the next child, then, the kid splashed the hot water onto another child in the group, causing the child to be injured with second-degree burns, and was, rushed to the hospital.  Yesterday, the school made a statement, said that the students went overboard in playing, that they will instruct them on safety more, and they’d, put a lock on the hot water in the offices already.

The school principal pointed out, there were, a few students who were playing rock-scissors-paper, the one who’d lost will have the water poured over her/his body, at first, the children only bottled up the cold water to pour, then, it got overboard, the students started, splashing the water around, after the teacher put an end to this, some of the students returned back to their seats, while there were, still three more students who were, horse-playing, one of the students went to get the hot water, then, handed it off to another student, and the student poured the hot water onto the male student who got burned, causing the right thorax and right forearm to sustain burns.

The mother of the injured boy issued a statement, doubting the methods to which the school chose, to handle the matters, she said, her son to this very day, still worried about the two friends who’d, injured him, but what’s at hand, is the issue of school campus safety matters, the higher grades in the elementary school years, should have the knowledge of what one can or cannot do, she hoped, that the children can understand what they’d done wrong, and not, just apologize then get off easily.

The principal of the school stated, that the school will reiterate the rules of being safe in playing, that there are two kinds of drinking fountains at school, one, with the adjustable temperature to sixty-degrees, another one, which the temperatures of the water stayed, constant, which they’d, switched off the hot water systems, so there would be, no more accidents like this one.

The families believed that the school took a very passive approach to handling the matter, the principal stated, that they were, taking an active approach to the matter, that it was due to a misunderstanding, that the parents of the injured child felt this way, that he will do his best, to communicate better with the family, and the parents of the students who went to get the hot water, along with the one who’d, poured the water, both apologized on their children’s behalves, and said they were, willing, to pay for the medical treatment of the injured student.  The city Department of Education stated, that they will re-examine the measures to which the school handled these sorts of matters, and, train the staff members better on how to handle these sorts of emergency situations.

The attorney, Lin pointed out, that the student’s injuries were from the child who’d filled up the bottle with the hot water, then handed it to the child who’d poured the hot water, legally, they’re accomplices, and the parents of both students should, PAY for the damages, the medical treatment charges that the injured child had sustained.

And so, that’s, what you can, when you don’t have the SENSE!  I mean, hello, hello, hello, I’m more than positive, that a TODDLER knows better, NOT to touch the hot water, and yet, these ELEMENTARY school age children, they horse-played, a bit, overboard, I mean, there are, a TON of things they could’ve, played with, like the erasers of the chalkboard, the chalk, the markers of the dry-erase broads, and other things they can get their hands on in the classrooms, and yet, they went to the teacher’s offices, to get the hot water, and poured it on someone’s body?  Yeah, and you DO see, how this goes, BEYOND the matter of safety, right???
