The Stacker Tipped Over, Crushed the Driver with His Young Son Witnessing His Death

With his young son watching, this ought to be, traumatic, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Yao, who drove a stacker who had been into doing good to help others, two nights ago, as he’d driven the stacker onto the truck, the stacker accidentally, tipped over, and crushed Yao’s thorax, he’d, lost all signs of life right then and there; his eight-year-old son was there, bearing witness to how his father was killed, he’d flown into a panic, and was, distraught.  The police suspected that it was the ladders that slipped off, causing the stacker to tip over, they’d already, called the district attorney’s office, for further investigations of the man’s death.

Based off of Yao’s friend, his father too, drove a stacker, responsible for lifting the goods, or setting up the performance stages, Yao was the only son of the family, he’d driven the stackers at Hualien fruit and vegetable market.  He had two sons with his wife, they’re, doing well economically, he’d once gone to help at the aftermath of the typhoon that hit Taidong, taken money out of his own pockets to help the locals rebuild, last year, at the huge earthquake in Hualien, he drove the stackers out, to help clean up the regions, he’d done good deeds often, and now, he was, accidentally, killed, it’d, made everybody who knew him feel sad.

The witnesses told, that on the evening of the fourth at around eight, the 43-year-old Yao was just finishing up his job on the stackers, was about to back his stackers up onto his truck, he feared that it would be dangerous, told his eight-year-old son to get off the stackers he was operating, to wait by the side, and, not long thereafter, a huge bang, the stackers flipped over, it started smoking too.

The local workers quickly came to help, lifting up the stackers together, pulling Yao out, his son rushed up to check too, and although, there were, no external injuries on Yao, but as the people who’d pulled him out, checked him, he’d, lost his pulse already, they’d, called the police and had him, rushed to the hospital, but he’d, still, died.

The police investigated and found, that the accident happened because the ladder wasn’t clamped in tight, and he’d not noted the distance, causing the ladders to fall, and, the wheels of the stackers, weren’t, lined in with the tracks, and, as the ladder slid off, it’d, caused the stacker to tip over, it’d, crushed Yao; what happened exactly, it was still, unclear, the police already asked the Hualien district attorney’s office to examine the matter more closely.

And so, this, is a tragic accident, because the man failed to make sure that everything was tight, and that was, how and why he was, killed, and that just showed, how important it is, to watch out for safety at work, especially if you’re, working around these sorts of, heavy machineries.
