The Practicalities of Adulthood

There is, N-O-N-E!  Childhood has, way MORE practicalities than the adulthood years that’s for certain.

As we became “adults” (whatever THAT means???), we became, oriented on purpose, and, feel compelled, to do the things that only serve a specific purpose, like work, for the sake of making our ends meet?  Unlike how children, they don’t need things to serve their purposes, they just, accept things, as they come.

how life doesn’t necessarily, needs a practicality for young children…查看來源圖片children engaging in imaginative play…photo found online

The practicalities of adulthood, we often, get TRAPPED, in the mindset, that everything serves a function, and when that certain thing stopped serving the specific functions we’d, assigned to it, we deemed it, broken.  But a child is, WAY more imaginative, s/he can, come up with, brand new, unexpected functions of something that’s, stopped working, like as that clock stopped working, and the batteries won’t work, the child may, still keep the clock, and see it, as a time bomb that’s, gonna EXPLODE at undesignated time of day.

The practicalities of adulthood, when did we, become, so focused, so centered, on how things MUST have that specific function, or it’d be, useless to us?  Why can’t all the adults, see how the world CAN work, all its, endless, possibilities as children would?  Because, the MORE we’re, educated, the narrower, our fields of visions became…

So, the practicalities of adulthood is simply this: adulthood is what we all reach, when we run out, of our, childhood years, or when the childhood years just, D-I-E-S, and, we’re all, reduced, to nothing more than, mere, people……………
