A child’s dreams, a very important one too! From the Front Page Sections, translated, a son with a heart here!
On the weekend mornings, it should be a time the school children who are off are playing outside, or staying in bed a little longer, but the group of children in Guoxing County had, signed up for the coffee planters skills course on the weekends.
As I visited the school, the lecturer won the second-place prize for international baked coffee beans contest, he’d mentioned how back when he was in his schooling years, he’d, hated hitting the books also, but he’d, returned back home to plant the coffees. In the process, in order to gain more knowledge on planting the coffees, he’d become, very widely read, read more than he had, during his entire schooling career too, he’d told the children, “learning does NOT stop when you stopped going to school, you’d needed to, learn even more, out of, necessity; in working hard to learn, and as I worked harder, into, my own, entrepreneurship, I’d learned, that in order to succeed, you’d, needed, focus the most………”
While the lecturer took a short break, the principal of the school asked the head of the class to share his thoughts on what he’d learned; that boy started blushing, but still said, with hard work, that he saw his dad working too hard, he’d felt bad for his own father, “When I’m capable in the futures, I can, become someone whom my dad can, rely on then”, he looked, very shy as he’d told, but, his voice sounded, a bit, muffled up. In order to ease up the air, I’d called out to him quickly, “I’m more than positive, that you’ll, grow into a man your father can, rely on”, and everybody started laughing, he’d, blushed even more.
“Do you like it? Dad’ll buy it for you!”, that was, a line from a commercial, and yet, it’d, stated aloud the hearts of a lot of the parents in the world; and, this sort of a love, doesn’t necessary get the children’s gratitude of heart, or how they would, learn, to cherish everything they’d, been given, instead, it may, cause the children to become, even more, materialistic, and once they’re not satisfied, they will be, angered, and started to, complain about the parents’ not providing enough for them.
Today, looking at these children, they all have hearts, filled with, gratitude, the child who was asked to speak up was willing, to become the person whom his own father can, rely on, working hard, for his own dad’s sakes, this what every parent wanted to hear from their children! Yes, a lot of children lacked that opportunity, so long as we’re all willing to work hard, giving them that chance, they will, surely enough, have what IT takes, to change their own futures, or maybe, they can state proudly, “Allow us, to be the ones you will, rely on!”, who’s to say, this is, impossible?
And so, because this group of children are from lesser backgrounds, they’d, become more appreciative of what’s, given to them by their parents, many of their parents are, breaking their backs, providing for their children to get a better education, so they can, have a better life, and this particular young child felt the love from his own father, that’s what drives him on, to work hard in his studies, so one day, he will, become successful, and, start to, take care of his own father, who’s currently, working very hard, to provide for him and his family right now. This, is the value we would want, all our children to carry that’s for sure!
