With one death, on injured! Tragedy struck, a house fire, from smoking here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
In An-Nan District of Tainan, there was, a house fire from an apartment building, although the fire was contained in just, twenty minutes, but the eighty-nine year-old elderly man, Shao was found in his bedroom, gotten burned up, his forty-nine-year-old daughter-in-law is in a coma, after she was rescued, she’s in critical condition.
The preliminary investigations showed, that the fire was started in Shao, the elderly man’s bedroom, because he smoked, and there were electric appliances such as an electric fan, the fire department isn’t ruling out the causes being how he was smoking in bed with the fan turned on, but, the room caught on fire too quickly, and so, the fire department is still currently investigating the actual causes.
Based off of understanding, the elderly man, Shao was immobilized, he was taken care of by an Indonesian nurse’s aide, but because the Indonesian nurse’s aide’s passport had expired, she’d gone up to Taipei to get it reissued, his daughter-in-law came to take care of him, his nurse’s aide had, escaped death. As Shao’s son learned of how his father died in a fire, and his wife was in critical condition in the hospital, he was in disbelief, “how could this have happened?”
At the second floor of a four-story apartment building in An-Nan District yesterday, there was a fire, the local fire department received a call from the nearby residents at 3:10 in the afternoon, they’d sent the rescuers out immediately, but the bedroom door was locked, and nobody answered when the rescuers called out, the firefighters broke down the door, entered, at the living room, close to the front door, they’d found Lee, on the ground, semi-conscious, with burns on her body, as they’d carried her out, they’d lifted her to the Chih-Mei Hospital for resuscitation. And in another room, the firefighters found a charcoaled corpse, after confirmation, they’d identified the body as Lee’s father-in-law, Shao.
And so, this elderly man put his own life in jeopardy, and his own loved ones too, by SMOKING, and it still, had NOTHING to do with the nurse’s aide, she was out, getting her visa reissued, and if she wasn’t there, then, how can she be responsible, for not taking care of this elderly man. The one to blame WAS, the elderly man, for smoking! And that’s, just, another life that’s, lost!
