The Two College Grads Gone Out for Their Trip After Graduation, Got Run Over & Died

The Two Classmates, Who Graduated from University This Year, Chang and Wei, Had Gone Out on a Trip for Flag Day Weekend, Yesterday, They Rode Out Together on a Scooter, on Their Way to the Train Station, Because the Pickup Ahead of Them Suddenly Slowed Down, They Couldn’t Dodge it, Hit the Pickup, Fell to the Ground, then, Were, Run Over by the Semi that Couldn’t Stop on Time, Dragged for Several Meters, They’d Died, on the Pavement.  The Families Were Called, Rushed Over, Started Crying, Afterwards, the Police Found the Pickup Driver Who Drove Off after the Impact, Cheng, Charged Him with Hit-and-Run, and Took the Driver of the Semi, Liao in for Vehicular Manslaughter.

The graduates, Chang (age 23) and Wei (age 22) had been classmates, and the best of friends, they planned to travel to Tainan for the long weekend.  Yesterday around noon, they rode together on a scooter, from the township, Huwei, headed to Donan Train station to take a train, as they pass through the 158^th Farmer’s Pass on the bridge in Yunlin, they’d, had an accident, they were hit by two vehicles, and run over, and killed.

“It wasn’t me!”, the driver of the semi, Liao, seeing both women dead, under his wheels rushed to explain to the police, he was driving in the fast lanes, saw there was a scooter that impacted a smaller pickup, as the women were hit, they’d, bounced into the internal lanes, he couldn’t, possibly, dodge them.

Because there’s no small pickup on sight, the head of the local substation, How had, replayed the roadside cameras, to find out exactly what happened, and it’d confirmed, that because the small pickup suddenly reduced speed, the motorists couldn’t dodge it fast enough, fell over, that was how they were, run over and killed by the semi.  The police quickly tracked down the driver, Cheng, he’d claimed, that he saw people falling over ahead, he’d slammed on the brakes, to reduce speed, didn’t know that someone was, hitting him from behind.

After the two college students were run over by the semi and dragged for over ten meters, they’d, died all over the places; the families were notified, and rushed to the scene, Chang’s father and older sister fell to the pavement started crying, “my daughter only told me she was headed to Tainan to travel, how did she end up like this?”, there were also, the angered families that screamed, “Who did this?”

Cheng and Liao both were sober, and the police believed, that Liao’s statements were to get him out of trouble, they’d charged him with hit and run, and the driver of the semi was charged with vehicular manslaughter.

And so, there’s, NO way of foreseeing this accident, and the drivers that hit, the motorcycle, and had dragged these young women, killed them, are both charged, and yet, there’s, still, NO justice here!
