Life, the Obstacle Course

Kept by Your Loneliness

I was, kept by your loneliness, your loneliness, is my warden, and no matter how I’d, behaved myself, I’m, never to get, paroled out!  Kept by your loneliness, there’s, NO way I’ll, EVER break FREE, from this prison, of your loneliness, and, I guess, I only have MY self to blame.

‘Cuz I felt sorry for you, seeing how lonely you were, when we first met, and, I’d, allowed, my protective maternal (and yet, do I, look like, YO mama???) instinct, to take over.  Kept by your loneliness, it’d, kept me, guarded, SEVERED off ALL of my contacts, from the outside world, and, I’d, lost ALL of my friends, my families too.

loneliness is a cage…photo from online

Kept, by your loneliness, I’d been, a very long, long, long time, and, it’s been, too hard, living alongside your, loneliness, and this, is a life-sentence, that I’m destined to serve, until, one of us dies.

Kept, by your loneliness, you’d, barred me from contacting all my friends, my families, and coworkers, you’d, made me stay at home, to take care of the house for you, while, making me, more and more, dependent on you every single day………
