Because you didn’t want to have any involvement in the matter, and besides, you don’t want to be responsible, for lending the man your scooter, that he’d, ended up, crashing, right???  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A pair of Filipino man and woman were riding together on a scooter two afternoons ago, at the turnpike, toward Tien-Liao, they’d lost control of the scooter, hit the rails, the two people flipped off the roads, down the slopes, and died.  The police used the license plate and originally thought that it was the owner, the forty-four year-old Wang who’d, died, until Wang’s daughter came to identify the body, told the police, “This isn’t, my mother”, that was when the police learned, that it was someone else who’d, died; because as Wang was called into the station, she’d, insisted that she didn’t know the two victims of the crash, and couldn’t tell why the two victims had her scooter, the police are trying to, find out whose fault this was.

The police investigated, that the woman and the man rode out together on the afternoon of the seventh, and the one controlling the vehicle seemed to have been too tired, that as they turned down the slopes, the vehicle accidentally, hit the railing, and the scooter got stuck on the railing, while the two motorists flew off the scooter, landed on the side of the 15-meter slopes, and as they were lifted and rushed to the hospital, they’d, still, not made it.

The police managed to get into contact with Wang yesterday, although she’d complied to the police’s inquiries, admitted that she’d bought the scooter two years ago, but insisted on she didn’t know the two victims of the crash, and wouldn’t tell the police why the scooter was in their possession.

The two victims were, identified, they were two Filipino migrant workers under two different agencies located in Taichung and Chiayi, they were, a couple, the woman’s older brother had already, positively, identified the deceased as his younger sister.

And so, the woman whose scooter was in the migrant workers’ possession should be partially responsible for their death, because it was, her vehicle, that they’d, crashed and killed themselves with, but, the way this woman just, told the cops, that it wasn’t her fault was, just too cold, it showed, how the lives of the migrant workers, aren’t considered as valued as the citizens here, they are, treated, as second-class citizens, sub-humans!
