As school started in the Sunrise Slope Elementary School in the morning of September 2nd at eight, there’s the shocking news of murder. A man barged into the classroom, and started hacking down the innocent students at random, causing eight fatalities, two injuries, it’d shocked China as a nation, and they’re calling it, the saddest first day of school. The suspect, Yu was caught at the scene by the police, and the police is now, working to find the motives of his hacking.
Based off of the local police, Yu was having troubles with love, and had stabbed his girlfriend over forty times, and got arrested for attempted murder, he was sentenced to nine years originally, had his sentence reduced while serving the time, and he’d, served a little over eight years, he was released just last year. The preliminary investigations conducted by the police found, that Yu was a local from Sunrise Slope, in his forties, unmarried.
Based off of the reports, a vendor who had a stand set up outside the elementary school testified, that at around 8:20 in the morn on September 2nd, a little boy ran toward him, fell into her arms, she took a closer look, it was her neighbor’s grandson. The boy was covering his stomach with his hands, she’d originally thought it was from a horse-playing that the children were having, until the boy said weakly, that someone had, stabbed him in the stomach, his clothes were covered in blood. She wanted to inquire who the assailant was, but the boy couldn’t say, he was, already, semi-conscious.
At around nine in the morn, the doctors who were called rushed over, those from the village committee too. They helped the children who weren’t hurt to leave, then, transported the injured boy to the hospital.
Based off of a news press in Hong Kong, there were the locals who claimed, that the suspect was a man named Hwa Yu, he had gone to prison for carving out his girlfriend’s eye before. The afternoon before the child was stabbed, the suspect was found, wandering outside the school, back then, he was dressed in the same clothes as the day he’d stabbed the young boy, with that sort of aloofness of expression on his face too.
The student getting stabbed in the elementary school angered the masses, the online community got heated up, “the first day of school, this surely, was planned!”, and, there was another who’d stated, “this man was so awful he’d hurt a young child, he deserved to rot in prison.”
And so, this, is a case of violence, that could’ve been, prevented, because the perp had a prior in violent crimes, and yet, because he’d served his time for carving out his ex-girlfriend’s eye, he got released, and this time, he’d, injured a young child.
