Another murder, with the “culprit” being??? L-O-V-E! From the Front Page Sections, translated…
Jiang was suspected of being displeased at how her married boyfriend, Huang taunted her with words, plus the stresses of economics were hitting her hard, at noon on the 3rd, she’d, first, put the sleeping pills into the fish soup she’d made for him, then, tied up the man’s lower body with rubber bands, then, took the man to the dock, strangled him to death with a linen rope, and, as she drove off, she got into an accident, which was what caused her to get caught. The police charged her with murder, the Pingdong D.A.’s office, after interrogating her, believed she’d committed murder, asked the courts to get her taken into custody, which the courts mandated.
Based off of understanding, the 65-year-old woman, is a native of Kaohsiung, worked for a long time at a food shop in Pingdong, she’d quit two weeks ago. She and Huang had been dating for three years, and she’d gone to the betel nut farm that Huang owned to work every week, based off of the testimonies of her coworkers at the food shop, Jiang gave money to Huang often, she’d been under great economic pressures.
The local police substation on at around four in the morn received the calls from the locals, that there was a man lying on the bridge, that he’d, stopped breathing, he had on a red coat, and his underwear underneath.
There was no identification on him, the police chased the leads, and suspected that the victim was the seventy-five year-old Huang who lived in Yen-Pu. After the families made a positive identification, they’d mentioned how the police called them to let them know, that there was a car accident involving his car at eight in the morning on the fourth, the local police immediately started following up.
Based off of understanding, Jiang rented a home close to Wanluan, as she was headed home on the fourth at around eight in the morn, she’d hit the scooter parked by the side of the roads, as the owner of the scooter called the nearby substation, the police called up the owner of the car, not knowing he’d been, murdered already.
As the local police arrived at where the car was abandoned, they’d bumped into Jiang who was retrieving something. The police asked further, at first, Jiang stuttered, later on, they’d given her a ride to the scene of the crime, she’d, finally admitted, and complained on how she’d been dating Huang for over three years and he’d never given her any money, and insulted her, “You’re so old, and so dark{“, she’d had enough with him already.
At noon on the 3rd, she’d put in the sleeping pills into the fish soup she’d prepare for him at his shack, but, the drugs weren’t strong enough, he’d not passed out, she’d tied his lower extremities up with rubber bands. At around one in the morning on the fourth, she’d dragged him to the wharf, and strangled him with the rope, then, drove off in his car, she couldn’t imagine how it was a fender bender that had her caught.
Because there were the Buddhist beads around the man’s neck, the families suspected that he was strangled by it, and suspected that when they’d gone to the motel on the 3rd, she’d, already, murdered him. But, based off of the preliminary from the forensic reports, the ligature mark on the man’s neck may have been caused by how the rope had entangled with the beads, as for the families’ suspicions, the police aren’t ruling anything out.
And so, this woman, she’d, finally HAD enough, he’d insulted her, lived off of her, and, she just, couldn’t, take it anymore, so, she’d, resorted to murder, and she got caught.
