Cyberbullies, getting S-U-E-D, by the VICTIM’s MOTHER here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
The five female middle school students were accused of using bad language to cuss a female classmate out, and was sued for public defamation. As the Juvenile Court of Tainan held its session, the judge grilled all five teens, and, mandated they write separate papers on what they’d done wrong, and on the civil front, they’d settled with $54,000N.T.s. Based off of understanding, the victim’s mother donated half of the money paid to them, to remind the world, that bullying with language, written or verbal, IS breaking the law.
The Department of Education of Tainan stated, that after the school investigated on the matters, the incidents weren’t continued for long-term, that it didn’t, qualify as bullying, instead, it’s, a matter of huge conflict in the schools. Based off of the rules of the schools, the adolescent females would be given the warnings or the reprimands, and the school will work to counsel these young women, so they don’t bully again.
The victim’s mother stated, that her daughter is more outgoing, and as she started in middle school, she’d, followed her elementary school classmates, and signed up for the group of “Cussing Out, the BITCHES are in” on FB. There are, twelve members of this group, later, the group got split to two, the daughter was cussed out by bad languages of the groups. As she’d learned this, she’d, taken the evidence she’d kept, to the school, to get even for her daughter, and reported the incident to the police, and SUED the five girls who’d cussed her daughter out for public defamation.

Based off of understanding, the victim student, in the dance rehearsals of the class, as one student kept making the mistakes in the moves, the daughter stepped up and defended the student, and, the others felt she was, defending the wrong person, and, they started getting into it.
As the Tainan Juvenile Courts investigated and reviewed over the matters, the judge reprimanded the five female students who were being sued, and ordered them to write the apologies physically.
And so, this, is how, you need to watch what you say online, because, if it’s something like this, someone CAN and WILL sue you for defamation, and even IF it were just a small fight between the friends, as the adults stepped in, it becomes, a FEDERAL case, and, this also showed, how FB can be easily, used as a medium for bullying someone, and, bullying isn’t just physically HITTING someone, making someone EAT dirt anymore, this IS, the HIGH-TECH era, and, there are, so many ways of using hi-tech to bully someone, and this being one of them.
