Two more tragic deaths, that could’ve easily been, avoided here, the strains of elderly caring for the elderly spouses here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
There were Rubber Band Ropes Tied Around the Necks of the Elderly Couple, the Wife Had Fatal Stab Wound on Her Neck, with a Swiss Army Knife Found Behind Her, the Police will Check the Prints on the Knife to See Who Had Killed Whom
A pair of elderly couple who were ill a long time was found dead inside their home by their daughter, the elderly woman was lying atop a Swiss army knife, both their necks showed strangulation marks, the elderly woman had knife wounds on her neck too, the police believed that it was because they were both tired of being ill a long time, the elderly woman had, strangled her husband who had a stroke to death first, then, committed suicide, and the details of what actually happened will come out as the prints off the Swiss army knife gets tested and as the autopsy results come out.
Based off of understanding, the couple had two daughters and a son, after the second daughter married, she’d moved in with her husband, and the eldest daughter and the youngest son lived with their parents, yesterday afternoon, the younger daughter called home and nobody answered, she’d gone home to see her parents, and she was the one who’d found them dead inside their bedroom.
The second daughter said, that two evenings ago, she’d put the topical cream for her mother’s skin condition on her, and yesterday afternoon as she arrived home, she’d found her parents, dead, with the rubber rope around both their necks, she’d undone the ropes, and found knife wounds on her mother’s neck also; the son testified, that early yesterday morning, he saw his father pacing in the living room, and he’d smoked a cigarette, that he didn’t think that anything was the matter with his parents, and he’d, returned back to his bedroom to sleep, and it wasn’t until yesterday afternoon when his older sister woke him did he learn of their deaths.
Based off of understanding, the seventy-eight elderly man had a stroke many years ago, he’d started relying on a walker for getting around, walked very slowly; the man in charge of the local borough testified that he’d seen ambulances coming to take Peng to the hospital, and he just had a recent emergency lift to the hospital not too long ago. The seventy-six year-old elderly woman took care of her ill husband for many years, she was, diagnosed with emotional problems many years ago, and she’d once attempted suicide by jumping into the river but was saved.
The police stated, that they’d received the call around 2:20 in the afternoon, as they arrived on site, they found the Pengs lying dead on the bed in their bedroom, rigor had set in, that there were, the rubber band ropes around both their necks, showing signs of strangulation, they were clearly, both, dead; Peng was lying on his side, with his arms lifted, his wife was lying flat on her back, with a folded Swiss army knife with blood on it, there were also, fatal injuries on her neck too. But there was no sign of struggle at the scene, no evidence of forced entry, and, all their valuables are still there.
The police believed, that early in the morning yesterday, one of them used the rubber band rope, strangled the other one to death, then committed suicide, and because Peng lost all his strengths after his stroke, plus there were, multiple wounds on his wife’s neck, they suspected that she killed him, then, committed suicide, but, the details of the case will only be clarified, after the prints on the Swiss Army knife was tested and the matches were made, the Shihlin D.A.’s Office will find a date for their autopsy, to clarify who had died before whom.
Hong said, that he’d been friends with the couple for over a decade, they were very well together, and gotten along well too with their children, and every time Peng tripped walking on the streets, his wife would rush over to help him back up, they are not having any financial difficulties, they own their home.
And so, based off of what’s been given here, we can deduct, that the woman was feeling too much burden from needing to take care of her ill husband, and, she’d, finally had it, and, killed him, and took her own life too, and this still just showed, how these elderly are taking care of their terminally ill spouses may be under too much pressure, and, there’s, no way of knowing that anything is wrong, because, they usually, don’t show any signs physically, that they’re, too tired, and by the time the families realized that the caretakers’ been strained, it’s, usually, too late.
