Deadlocking her child, and herself, in the ABUSER/ENABLER relationship here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…
A young girl of two years of age, after being physically abused by her stepfather, the social services placed her with her maternal grandmother; three days ago, the child was taken away by her birthmother, she wanted to try to get back together with the husband who’d, physically abused her daughter, it’d, sparked heated discussions online. The local social services department pointed out yesterday, that they had, recovered the girl and her three-months old younger sister, and already, placed them in emergency custody.
A member of the FB’s “Hsinchu Disclosures Group” posted the photo of the young child, with her face covered up in blood, bruises, the person claimed to be the young child’s nanny, that she was raised by her since she was an infant, that she’d been tried, her mother had remarried after her divorce, and, the child started, getting physically abused by her stepfather.
“Seeing how there are, more bruises on her, I’d felt my heart break…………”, three days ago, the child was taken away by her birthmother, the nanny worried about the safety of the young child, other than notifying the police, the social services, she’d also, asked for help online, to help find this young child.
As the members of the online community read the posts, they’d all said, “such a terrible thing”, “such a poor child”, the local social services department pointed out, that the 23-year-old birthmother of the young child, Chang, was physically abused by her 24-year-old husband, Wei, the social services were called, and found the two-year-old Chang had with her ex-boyfriend were covered in bruises, they’d notified the child protective services, and turned the child over to her grandmother to be cared for.
But, two days ago, the grandmother had to work, she’d, given the young child to her son to look after, and, as Chang came home, picked her up, she’d, lost contact, the grandmother of the child worried about her safety, she’d called the domestic violence hotline that night as well as the police too.
The local Social Services Department told, that early two days ago, they managed to get Chang and her children’s whereabouts, and at around one in the afternoon two days ago, they’d confirmed, that the mother and daughters were, picked up by the Women & Children’s specialty task force in Changwha, the Social Services immediately placed the children out of the mother’s custody.
Based off of the social workers’ testimonies, Chang was on her way to Changwha to get back with her husband, Wei, and, the community felt odd, because she was abused by her husband, with her two young daughters, so why was she, trying to, get back together with him? The social workers can’t understand it either. Wei left his family for his affair, and, it’s suspected, that Chang was trying to repair her marriage, get her family back together.
And, I don’t believe it’s as simple as that at all, because, this woman is, apparently, trapped in an abuser/enabler interaction with her current husband, and, she’d not become the protective mother that her own young children needed her to become, she couldn’t even, protect herself, how the HELL was she going to, keep her own young safe, and so, the social services needed to step in, and place these kids somewhere safe.
