The Pact of Threes, that Helps Children from Getting Addicted to the Online World

A person, sharing her experiences on encounters of high-tech addiction, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

From before, when people were diagnosed of severe myopia, it was usually due to reading too much; and now, it’s because of how the individuals were, exposed to high-tech devices at too young an age.  The modern day medical advances, using laser surgeries, or the corneal shaping contacts, it can, resolve the problems of nearsightedness, but, there’s, the issues of side effects, once the eyeballs are, damaged, they will, never be getting better, and, what followed would be an assortment of sight problems to the extent, of blindness.

I am with a high nearsightedness, and, I’d had surgeries for my problem, and, my vision got better, and, although I no longer needed the glasses, but, the structure of my eyes became, very fragile.  Several years later, as FB, LINE, and an assortment of online advances came about, because I’d, used them without any control, I was, diagnosed with macular lesion, after two surgeries, my sight was, saved, and yet, I see things twisted, and, there are, always shadows around the things I am, looking at, it’d, severely, impacted my work, and my life, I truly, regretted it.

The Pact of Threes, that Helps Children from Getting Addicted to the Online World

So, as I see children getting too attached to the cell phones, that they were, sliding on the screens everywhere they went, I’d, worked hard, to console with them, hoping, they learn to cherish their sight, to avoid what happened to their mom.

Being in the information age, it’s, next to impossible, to prevent our young from using the high-tech devices, and, rather than forcing them to stop using, you might achieve more, with gentle consoling.  Setting up the deals, when using the high-tech devices, make sure there’s enough lighting, and that they much have self-control to stop at anytime, and, set up the alarms that will go off as reminders to them when they need to break away, to stretch their eyes a bit, so their eyes can have their, needed, rest.  At mealtimes, or when we’re holding conversations, no cell phones, turn off the alerts, to focus on the great food in front of us, and the time spent with the loved ones.

Finding the devices with the least amount of radiation, use the filters, to prevent the eyes from getting overly exposed; share the articles you find online on addiction, to heighten the awareness; plan the trips away from indoors, to take the kids outside, so they can break temporarily from the high-tech devices; go visit the ophthalmologist regularly.  There’s nothing wrong with the kids nowadays wanting to slide online, but, you need to have self-control in usage, to not have your eyes, abducted by the high-tech devices.

And so, the best way to keep your kids off of the cell phones is by interacting with them more, and, starting at a young age, limiting their usages of high-tech gadgets, and that, would be the best way, of preventing them from being addicted to the high-tech devices.
