A girl that ran away, right before Mother’s Day, because of a disagreement with her mother that she had, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

with nowhere to go, she could, easily, become, a victim…photo from online

Every year before Mother’s Day, the school always hosted the celebratory functions, teaching the children to be grateful, to appreciate their mother’s love.  After the events, the head of the class took the bouquet of carnation, and the handmade cards by the students, and, given them to the school teachers; seeing how the kids wrote so many wishes to me, I’d felt, more than, blessed.

I’d shared this with my coworkers, after she saw, she’d, sighed, “if only, Ru in my class was, that well-behaved.  Unfortunately, she doesn’t even want to see her own mother, she’d, run away from home for three days, and so, I can only, report her for being truant, for now.”

As my coworker last saw Ru, it was last week when she’d asked her mother to come to have a parent-teacher conference, the teenage girl had talked back to her mother a lot, and the mother got too angry, and hit the girl in the teacher’s presence.  Ru cried and screamed at her mother, “other than hitting me, what can you do, you don’t love me, believe it or not, I will, run away tonight!”, and that very night, Ru’s gone, missing, as Ru’s mother called, and told my coworker, she’d regretted hitting her daughter, and just, wanted her to come home soon.

The children are not really handling the pressures that well, some kids have a mixed up circle of online friends, when they are pressured too much at home, when the academics became too hard or when the parents disciplined them a bit too harshly, they’d easily turned outward, to find that harbor of safety, and, because of how inexperienced these teens can be, that was why, many tragedies had, occurred.

It’s Mother’s Day today, I wanted to call out to her, “child, go home, no matter how awful your mother treated you, she’s, waiting for you.  Go home, talk it out with your mother, give yourselves a chance, family is forever, your mother’s the one who’ll, love you, forever.”

And so, because this young lady is in her teenage years, and we all know how those, teenage years can become, too turbulent, and, because the mother hit the girl in front of the teacher, that was why, this young lady ran away from home, but hopefully, she’ll, come to her senses, and know that her mother really, does love her, and return home soon…
