The person of interest in the deaths of the young siblings in Hsinbei City, their thirty-nine year-old father, Wu, had been missing for three days since the murders, he was discovered yesterday in the evenings, dead by the beaches of Jingshan; Wu didn’t leave a note or any words behind, and, whether or not he’d, murdered his own young, and why, it’s still, a mystery.
The police investigated, that Wu (age 39) was divorced from Yang (age 36) last February, the seven-year-old son stayed with him, the ten-year-old daughter, stayed with Yang; the siblings would switch every other weekend to stay with their parents separately.
Last Friday, the sister went to her father’s to reunite with her father and younger brother, on Sunday evening, Yang couldn’t get in touch with Wu, had Wu’s father go to his place to check, and his father saw the children were dead on the bed, that they seemed to have been, suffocated by the quilts.
The police found, that Wu was the person of interest that the young siblings were in contact with last, but there wasn’t any solid evidence of him being the murderer, plus, he and his wife were closer together recently, he’d received a promotion recently, there wasn’t any economic pressures, and the police and the loved ones couldn’t understand the motives behind his murdering his children, they can only hope, that people who know them can help them sort through the case.
But the specialist investigative teams found, that on the afternoon of last Saturday, Wu rode a cab all the way to the bay in Sanji District, he was drinking his coffee at the shop, with a lot on his mind, and wandered about for a long time, as the night drew in, the temperature dropped, he’d gone into the shops to buy himself a coat, and the police deducted that he couldn’t be suicidal, but all the local substations, subprecincts, and police stations all sent out the searchers, and they’d not found him.
At around five in the evening, the locals found a dead body by the reefs close to the beach, the families came, and identified that it was Wu; the Keelung D.A.’s offices, at the preliminaries, believed he’d drowned to death, but they’re still waiting on the autopsy reports to clarify the cause of death.
And so, based off of testimonies of those who knew this man, things are going up for him, and yet, he’d, committed suicide after he’d, murdered his children, and nobody will EVER know why, because the one with the answers is now, DEAD!
