Life, the Obstacle Course

The Aroma of Books that Filled Up the Room

A space you can go, and just, meditate, and have some quiet time, inside your own home, that is why there’s a need for a den!  Translated…

The moment I entered into the den, the scent of books, entered into ma nostrils, I’d become, immersed in it.

Twenty-five years ago after we’d moved in, I’d, especially set up a den, with a collection of five thousand books in it, that’s been, accumulated since my high school years, with the literary works, to a whole set of encyclopedia.

And, I’d, hung that character of “Silence” on a scroll next to the shelves, I believed, that the den s where you read, and, it needed to be, quiet, like the library; I’d always written an idiom regarding the importance of reading, to remind myself to read more.

There is a wooden desk, it was my wife’s dowry, although it isn’t that huge, but, it’d become, this necessity of mine when I read.  Every time I’d, picked up a book, sat down in front of it, I’d become, glued to the books, and started to, enjoying the joys of reading.

And so, this, is a small space shared by you and your husband, where the two of you can go, and just, read, and relax, and immerse in your separate worlds, while keeping one another company…we all need a small space like this in our lives, where we can go and feel peace, and maybe, meditate too.
