A man, Xiang was displeased at how his younger sister stopped the payments he’d been getting from his own mother’s elderly assistance account, the ATM card for the low-income assistance, he’d, used a machete to hack down his younger sister, his elderly mother saw, attempted to stop him, and was pushed to the ground, he’d even hollered out at his own mother, “Are you satisfied now!”, he turned himself in afterwards, and, although his younger sister’s life was spared after being taken to the hospital, she’d, lost sight from her left eye, and her face was, disfigured. The Kaohsiung District Court found him guilty of attempted murder and physically assaulting his next-of-kin, sentenced him to eight years in prison, and this can be appealed.
The Collectivist Courts pointed out, that Xiang hacked his younger sister, causing her eyeballs to split open, to lose her sight, to have her face destroyed, she’d even had a piece of her chin severed off too. And, after he’d hacked his younger sister, he’d, stuck that knife into the T.V. cabinets, and he’d taken a lot of force, in trying to kill his own younger sister, the knife he’d used was already no longer sharpened, and it’d, caused the serious injuries on his younger sister, which showed how he intended to murder her.
The case happened in last September, on the afternoon of his attempted murder of his own younger sister, Xiang (age 51) went to the post offices to make withdraws, but couldn’t, and, as he’d gone to his mother’s home, and found that it was caused by his younger sister, in a moment of anger, he’d, grabbed the knife from the kitchens, and went into his younger sister’s bedroom, and started hacking her down.
Xiang’s younger sister said, back then, her older brother barged into her bedroom, screamed, “You took away my livelihood, I will, take your life too!”, then, started hacking at her repeatedly, “he’d first attacked my face, then, as I’d, tilted my body, he’d, started hacking my side as well as my back too”, and in the process, he’d screamed, “I will kill you!” Later on, as he saw her, not moving on the bed, he’d said to himself, “she’s, dead now, I will go and turn myself in”, and cussed at his own mother, “Your daughter’s dead, and your son is going to get taken away to jail, you happy now?”
Xiang’s younger sister told the judge, that he believed that she has no say in how he’d spent their mother’s money, and mentioned, “we never got along at all, he’d threatened to kill me from before.”
In the trial, Xiang claimed, that he didn’t get enough wages he was serving his voluntary army terms, that he’d not managed to save up enough money, and the money he got from his retirement pension out of the armed service in the sum of half a million dollars, he’d, lent to his friend, he couldn’t work due to his hypertension, he’d worked the temp jobs, and he’d been using his mother’s ATM card to live off of for eight, to nine months.
The Collectivist Courts believed, that he’d not saved enough money during his armed services terms, spent up all the half a million dollars worth of retirement pension from the armed services, and still just worked the temp jobs, he’d not thought hard enough why it was his younger sister had stopped the ATM card, only blamed everybody else for his own problems, and nearly murdered his younger sister, that he shouldn’t get off easily, sentenced him to eight years in prison.
So, this man not only didn’t consider WHY his younger sister stopped him from withdrawing from his mother’s retirement pension, didn’t save the money he received from before, and just, got angered at his younger sister, for stopping making the withdrawals out of HIS MOTHER’s account at the post office, and, he’d, hacked her, and, although she survived the hackings, he still, only received EIGHT years of prison for his ATTEMPTED murder, that’s still too lenient, if you ask me, but hey, W-H-O asked you, right???
