In order to prevent more cases of predatory school teacher and child abuse, the legislators passed the amendments of the “Child & Adolescent Welfare Protective Act”, when the trained professionals were barred from visiting the children in high-risk environments, they can get the police and district attorneys to assist them in entering into the homes to visit by force.
There are eighty-four possible acts written up by the party not in power, yesterday, as the committee members examined through sixty-four, they’d, put two acts aside, for discussions on another day, they’d, amended the twenty-six acts and passed. The key points of these other than the forced visits by the authorities, it’d also included having the cameras installed into the nursery centers, and set up the reexaminations of the deaths of children under age six.
And, if someone noticed that a child is being abused, and not reported within twenty-four hours of finding the child being abused, the individual can be fined up to $60,000N.T.s individually, and if someone sells the betel nuts, the cigarettes, the alcohol to underage minors, it’s punishable by a fine of $100,000N.T.s, and if someone had solicited children or adolescents into prostitution or solicitations, it’s punishable by a fine of $600,000N.T.s.
In order to prevent the abuse of the afterschool programs of children and adolescents, or knowingly covering up the abuse, the most severe amount of fine was raised from $300,000N.T. to $600,000N.T.s, and, the programs will stop its operations ofr one month to a year’s time, and the government will list out the unfitting centers and the people in charge of these centers too.
And, for the first time, there’s the listed law of when the related units of government knowing that the parents didn’t register their young children for birth, or not set up the medical insurances, or not gotten their young the innoculations, or put them in schools, all the units responsible in overseeing these matters should be, reported.
And, the responsibilities of making the reports are, delegated to the managerial units of government, through the indicators made by the school instructors, listing and filtering out those who are high-priority, to connect the networks for protection, to set up a stronger safety net. The manager of the Child Welfare Legisㄠature Center, Lee stated, that if the fines are ineffective, then, the process should start at prevention, including the cares and concerns, paid to teenage parents, and children under age six, to crossing over the units, to find out which families are in need of assistance.
And so, this, seemingly, would be enough, as it’d, become strengthened, this network of protection, but how it will work, well, we won’t know, until the next time a case of child abuse happens, to see if, it was, able to be, prevented, or, if it still, happened.
