Someone Who Held Out an Umbrella for Me

An experience that’s, touched this woman, because nobody who’d come before this man, had ever been, so very, thoughtful, or considerate, translated…

As I was going somewhere one day, there was a building that was getting its outer walls cleaned.  I’d, wanted to take an alternative route originally, but, the left side of the pass was a driveway, and so, I can, only blame it on my bad luck, walked fast as I could, under the building being cleaned.

At this time, there was a construction worker in a work helmet who’d, walked toward me.  I’d, slowed my pace down, guessed that he wanted to tell me, that I can’t, go this way.  And yet, he’d not said a single word, instead, he got in front of me, to the right, and, held out an umbrella for me, which stunned me.

Turned out, he was, waiting here, to held out an umbrella, for those who passed by, to block off the dirty water from the building being washed.  His accidental behaviors, they’d, surprised me, there were, the times before, when I got, rained down by the dirty water, which put that gray onto my originally, brightened mood.

And this, was the very first time someone had, ever held out an umbrella for me.  I’d, thanked him repeatedly, and, he’d, smiled that light smile, to bid me, farewell.

And so, this was, the thoughtfulness of this man, and, he was, probably, one of the workers who’d come on the call, to wash the windows, and, his thoughtfulness had, touched this woman very much.
